SU is confirmed with UA.So far Adidas has PV, Alabama State and Grambling. Under Armour has TSU and from what I hear possibly Southern. And word on who the others school are going with?
They make athletic gear?K-Swiss
Switching from Russell will cost some HBCUs heavily
Unlike the big name schools who get money thrown at them to wear brands like Nike, Addidas, Under Armour, etc, HBCUs aren’t getting broken off to wear them. Even when the MEAC switched from Russell to Nike for nine of its 11 football schools, several of them wore old uniforms in a one-year transition period. It’s not clear if the CIAA, the SIAC (who went with Nike) and the SWAC (whose members will have individual deals) will have the same option.

I was wondering would SU’s deal effect the deal SU baseball has with Marruci.I wonder why WSSU included "equipment" as line items in this UA transition budget? UA doesn't make baseball, softball, or football equipment other than balls. They are claiming $525/player for football equipment and $650/player for baseball equipment. Makes zero sense. That's over $100K of the $500K they claim as a NEW expense.
Shouldn't affect it at all. Just changing uniforms and shoes.I was wondering would SU’s deal effect the deal SU baseball has with Marruci.
Naw, i was just informed that Bynum had switched us to Fubu.K-Swiss
I was told Adidas for the Braves. So far Adidas has PV, Alabama State and Grambling. Under Armour has TSU and from what I hear possibly Southern. And word on who the others school are going with?
At one point every school was negotiating a new deal before Russell announced the end of their athletic apparel business.Anybody with eyes could see the end of the road for Russell Athletics years ago.
Question is... which schools were proactive about the transition and newly added cost that they KNEW would come with one of the major suppliers?

The smaller/lower athletic budget schools wanted the conference-wide deals because they were more favorable to them than doing it on their own.Yep. Our AD said that most of the schools in the conference have BEEN trying to get individual apparel deals but the conference wanted a conference-wide deal.
Basically welfare like the 9- game conference schedule is attendance welfareThe smaller/lower athletic budget schools wanted the conference-wide deals because they were more favorable to them than doing it on their own.

I’m surprised no one has signed a Nike deal under the Jordan Brand label yet.
