SU: Willie "mighty-might" Quinn, Leonard "Art-" Tillery, and hon mention to SU's OL.

WQ's quickness, elusiveness, speed, agility, and sure-handidness makes him hard to cover. He has the feet/legs/acumen to beat you @ various positions (KR, PR, WR, or 'wildcat' if they show it ;) ).

LT's low center of gravity, power, speed, and shiftiness ensures that he'll continue to amass over 80+ yards a game on the ground (IC). He hasn't been featured too much leaving the backfield in pass routes but I'm sure if needed, he can get it done.

I said hon mention to SU's OL because they have given up only 2 sacks in 3 SWAC games. This ensures that AHoward has plenty of time to checkdown several of those talented WRs in pass routes.
 
PV:
Hebert: Elusive, Quick, strong possibility to go to the next level.

Brown and Guillory: 2 huge factors on defense.

Offense: Read option: Most teams are going to it and Simmons has shown he can run it.

Ummmmmmmmmmm Jax... the thread said 2+ brah lol. We're gonna' hafta' get you to get your research on PVAMU, like I just did for SU. Naturally, the big names we always hear are the offensive guys (QBs, RBs, WRs) but we tend to overlook something as simple as the OL in the trenches making the O work.

PV is ranked either 1st or 2nd in the SWAC for: Total Offense, Scoring Offense, Rushing Offense, and Pass Offense. Therefore, the OL is doing their job similar to what you said about SU's OLine.
 
PV:

1.Has a good offense that can put up points at anytime during the game.

2. Hebert is going to be a pain to try and contain. Dude is a great player.
 
Scoring def wise, SU is currently #2 and #3 in total defense. IMHO, that spells playmakers and ball hawks flying to the ball on defense. Naturally, I expect SU to have its traditional push upfront (DL).

Haven't heard too much about the LBers and DBs though. ::confused smiley::
 
TSU - I expect their defense to show up just like last year.

Offense - They have some talent. Hopefully our defense shows up (although it seems like every has earned POTW honors on us thus far :( )
 
Willie Quinn - A nightmare to cover on everything. He can hit a "home run" at any point during the game.

Leonard Tillery - Tought RB to bring down with his low center of gravity.
 
SU

1) Without a doubt Willie Quinn (SWAC version of Darren Sproles). If I game planned for this dude I would find a big strong DL that can kick and have him just do kick offs and kick it out of the endzone everytime.

2) Artillery in the backfield combined with the punch of the other back Crockett who is VERY strong and runs downhill. The HUGE TEs make it easy for Austin Howard to use his quick release

I know we said 2 but PV has to watch out for the hungry DBs in the secondary who have just come back they are moving up the charts on INTs
 



Grambling
It looks like they are running a 3-3-5 defense.
Jonathan Williams is a pretty good QB
An that Jonathan Williams is pretty accurate throwing with his eyes close.
 
Grambling is the first formidable opponent for the Braves in the SWAC.

I like their Running Back #4
 
SU

Only school in the conference where the majority of their stadium is the home side.
Stadium will be rocking for their homecoming and both bands will be there to play.
