Players and facilities are two different things.

Pop...people don't want to believe it, but our schools, on average, are on par with the majority of FCS ... players and facilities

The lineman were a big difference and eastern Washington was a bit more discipline than any swac team I've seen in a while, especially for their first game of the season. But shsu had a lot of penalties. Must be all the transfers they have had come in the last few weeks. They probably haven't gotten comfortable with each other yet. It will be interesting to see how bama state plays against them next week.

SHSU gets 12 transfers....its all about the majors (or lack of) you offer

as funny as it sounds that quarterback from SHSU was still available after signing day and could've been in the SWAC but he looks to be middle of the pack when it was all said and done

nothing about PWC FCS schools are attractive as their students rather hang out at HBCUs or head home every weekend....

Sam Houston for the last several years have been a consistent upper echelon program on the FCS level. I think the Alabama State game is going to be a decent measuring stick. As someone has already stated, the trenches may be an area of concern but we'll see. Discipline will be of paramount importance also......

Don't see much difference between these teams and the SWAC.

Let a QB had missed all those wipe open throws or WR's dropped all those passes.

Yes but I'm sure about 300 of those yards came on a handful of plays. Other than those few plays they held SH in check. That's why their guy won DPOTW.
