Spivery must have conceeded his fate. Can't wait till march when thus season is over and the new coaching search starts. This 4-18 shidd is worst than pathetic.:shame:
 
With two more years left on his contract after this season, I don't see anything happening... With the University struggling financially, and still having to pay off a football coach too, IMO, I think this is a moot discussion... I could see him being asked to make some staff changes though...

Pop, what are hmmmmmmm about. LOL. Everyone know we were paying off Pete. He agreed to a buyout that pays him 70K a year instead of a lump sum for the one year he had left. Actually he did us a favor with that deal.

I guess you missed that info in the news. How are you guys going to handle Comegy if you fire him next season with one year left on his deal?

Watch what happens @ the end of the season. He may be @ SU for another 2 years, but it wont be as basketball coach, from what I understand, unless he wins the tournament, which aint no way in the ell happening.

It was said by an un-named member of the nation that an Alumni was paying out Pete's contract on behalf of the school.

And what does that have to do with anything? The money still has to come through the school. LOL. Obviously you can't go back to same folks for more money to buy Spivery out.

Yall need to keep Spivery...he's a good coach. Plus he got good hair and even during the summer, he stays "light". :lol:

Nah C-leb. I aint so sure that SUJTID is not right. While it is true we don't have money to give him to go away with 2 years remaining. There are a lot of angry folks (alums and administration) that are concerned about our mens basketball program. Depending on the language in Spivery's contract, I would not be totally shocked if they find a way for him to not be the coach next year.

Maybe someone should ask Avery for the money to buy out Spivery. LOL. There are resources that we don't tap sometimes to help our situation. But that is another topic.:shame:

biggs, yall better worry about being sued by those folks from milwaukee....heard they asking for the 40 acres and a mule which equals gsu athletic department surplus..plus jt's job.....
