Very true, plus they wanted to get him away so he can keep quiet. I have no proof, but I just have in my mind that LSU is still taking care of Perrilloux because they don't want him talking about the initial swaying to LSU. He's been advised to go to Jacksonville, play ball, spend your money and keep his mouth shut.

Dude McKenna got a seal of approval after the spring. Even the Clarion Ledger was saying he was hitting dudes in the hands and they dropped a lot of balls. Dude can run and pass and has a cannon arm. He will be fine in the SWAC. RP was an upgrade to any of the SWAC QB's...Even Lee..
Comegy was gleaming from ear to ear about the kid. Even on the Radio and Ruthland was assured of 2nd string....

So Comegy was suppose to say I have my QB but we will give him a chance to compete for the starting Job? He didn't show up anyway but that surely wouldn't have helped the situation. The Kid wanted to be handed a starting position so 'coach speak" had to be used to lure him.

Who's reaching? I just asked a question. RP is not some high school recruit. He's someone looking to transfer and start someplace for 2 years. Comegy knew that and speaks as if he knew he needed a starter.

Everybody in the JSU Den and Dens nationwide knew that had they not played musical chairs at QB then we wouldn't have started the season off with two loses. We all agreed that if Jimmy played we would win the SWAC and you know what. We were right.
Those same Den members have seen the QB's we have play and Ruthland holding his helment int he spring and they are all better than Jimmy. Jimmy could scramble and make something out of nothing.
Now we have a QB who can scramble and throw bombs...Oh well the guy who said we knew nothing is coaching in a DIII wasteland and is losing everygame.
While JSU fans are sitting back looking at there championship rings and looking to repeat and three peat ..:swink:

Why did GRAM and Valley try to sell the kid. Gram has a starter too...Just like all the other coaches who went after the kid. He pretty much has NFL talent. Who would pass that up. And don't say Pete cause if he could he would.
Man you know Gram's starter is garbage and Valley has none.
I agree... RP has NFL talent. Your coach wanted NFL talent to start for him. Makes sense... but ya'll keep denying he wanted RP to start for him.
