Ryan Brothers Out in Buffalo





Listen, I'm not a Ryan fan but why aren't GMs and Owners loyal these days? I mean....it wasn't like Buffalo was doing any better before he got there. When he did take over, it wasn't like they went 0-16 or 1-14. They do have a good nucleus of players and if they just add a couple of more from the draft or free agency, they could be contenders. When I listened to sport shows all throughout the year, whenever Ryan's name was brought up, they were always critical even when the Bills won. Why?

What am I missing? Why was everyone so critical when the team wasn't that bad?

Now they are going to bring in someone else who will tear down what has been built and Buffalo will more than likely extend the seasons of not playing in the playoffs....(shrugging shoulders)...
 
BTW...look at the post Ryan NY Jets...their future doesn't seem to be better. I don't know, if I were owner or a GM, I would pick a person, give him more time to make things happen and when he does, I would not be so quick the get rid of him especially if my franchise had not had a lot of success as of late.

We want microwave success and when it does not happen, then fire the coach. Why is New England, Pittsburgh and a few other teams are successful? Because they do not fire the coach at the first sign of trouble and have a system in place for the coach to be successful. I hope in all of this that Tyrod Taylor is given another year!

Just saw on in NFL Live that he is going to be benched this Sunday. SMH!

Might be the end for Taylor in Buffalo, while the bum in Houston gets to keep his job. Being a certain color sure has its privileges! If Buffalo has any brains, at least they will hire Anthony Lynn. Since a few other teams see something in him, so should the Bills!

Tyrod Taylor is a solid QB. He's not elite (yet) he's better than Kaep, Barkley (for now), Bortles (for now), Simien, any Jets QB, Bradford or any Browns QB (especially RG3). He could go to Denver and they would instantly be back in the Super Bowl hunt next year
 
I have not followed Buffalo closely but am not surprised by the firing.

I wonder who is picking the players there.

Bill Belichick and Mike Tomlin won the Super Bowl in their second seasons, and never really had any significant drop off in team performance after that.

That's why they've been on the job so long.

True, but Pittsburgh has a system for the coach to be successful. The organization has had only three coaches, Chuck Noll, Bill Cower and Tomlin.
