Rumors

AJ is conducting business as usual. Recruiting went well and the visits were great. Dean of the SWAC will be back for his 11th season. None of the opened jobs are attractive to AJ. Best job in BCF.

JR do you know the date of the 2013 SU/AAMU Game in October. Also if anyone know the date of the GSU/AAMU Game please let me know.

I know we are playing JSU on Nov 9, 2013, but I don't have the dates of these two games.

So how many championships is that now in 10 seasons for the Dean? :emlaugh:

We provide a wholesome experience during the development of our young people so they can compete in an uncertain society. Since Football is an extra curricular activity for our non profit sport call football, we are pleased with the outcome of each season based on our objective. Over the last ten years, we have entrusted our program in a man that is honest and fair. His stongest point to a parent is that if your son play for me he will be allowed to attend classes to meet the standard of Div 1 football and graduate. If he miss class he will not play for AAMU.

Why? It's his alma mater so he deserves to be there just as much as you.

I would bet even more than him!

Asberry should be the head coach at jsu. I don't think the ship will ever be right at jsu until they hire an alum as reciprocity for the last alum that was unjustly fired and replaced by James Bell. That is an example of a mother eating her cub and there is a price to pay when things like this happen. :smh:  :emlaugh:

No argument here!

Isn't that something special. Now that you have given us your Athletic Depts. mission statement, you may now convey to the general public how many championship trophies the "Dean" has in the last 10 years (wholesome experience and all). :emlaugh:

In an above thread, it was mentioned that AAMU flopped in 2012. It all depend on how you evaluate the season. Note that by starting off 6-0, we motivated every team to play their very best on game day. It was unbeliever some of the plays made by student athletics with less skills than the outstanding team we put on the field. Those teams that beat us did not win the SCG, but the team we beat won the SCG. JSU was picked to win the SWAC Championship, but failed, which simply mean every team has a 50/50 chance of winning. Now if JSU fans understood the opportunity to compete as we do; by having played in several championship games their fans would not be trying to fire the coach.

BTW, we have too many trophies sitting on the floor because they cannot fit in the trophy case. Trophies being awarded today are just too large to fit in the trophy case. This is why the NCAA has not changed the size of its trophy so it can fit in a normal size trophy case.
