Wow.....we don't want to play in the separate but equal bowl, but somehow WE trying to make the man happy? That would make sense if it wasn't the white man funding the game you want do bad.

Sounds like some pouting because the MEAC don't wanna play with you. But that's none of my business....

The numbers above says your school's athletic program has accumulated a debit in the amount of ($39,118,248) from 2005 to 2013. That's a heck of a lot of money for any HBCU to waste.

That is nothing but low self esteem. They think that if somehow a "historical" PWC college isn't involved it diminishes the value. :emlaugh:

low Self esteem is saying "well we cant win playoff games, so why be in the playoffs"

lower self esteem is saying "yall aren't successful in the playoffs...so come play with us"

The numbers above says your school's athletic program has corrected a debit in the amount of ($39,118,248) from 2005 to 2013.

okay....and would playing in the hbcu bowl alleviate those numbers?

low Self esteem is saying "well we cant win playoff games, so why be in the playoffs"

Post a link and the quote from the SWAC or MEAC office to confirm this. If you can't then you're a liar. :smh:  :emlaugh:

Not sure, but it would be in a difference direction. You do know what Einstein's definition for insanity.

I do. and yes...it would be different....

but there are many ways to be different. I just don't know that THIS different way is better.

I will say as Ive said repeatedly. I don't hate this game. I think its great to have. I just don't agree that the champ should be FORCED to play in it.

I have no issue with there being a HBCU bowl, especially if it raises money. But don't prevent the ability to play in one game to have the other, especially when it don't HAVE to be that way. Both games can exist. Just give the champ the choice.

Or....play it with the CIAA champ. or the SIAC Champ....my only issue with this game is that in yalls opinion, we HAVE to give up the autobid to play in it. There are other alternatives.

But, but nevermind the bleeding, Mr Cholly might put them on the FCS terrorist list if they deviate. :emlaugh:

It just goes to show just how insane some so-called educated Black folks are. :emlaugh:

dude...you know that nobody said those actual words...

but yalls main argument for the MEAC playing in this game is "yall never win in the playoffs." and "the playoffs doesn't make any money"

to say "yall never win in the playoffs" implies that "since you cant win in the playoffs, why continue to play in it.

to say "the playoffs doesn't make any money" implies that this game would make more money...and it might. There is no argument there.

which is again....why I say have the game.....AND the playoffs...having one doesn't mean you cant have the other

because we have a difference in opinion. the other person must be insane? Wow....

we can debate this topic all day. I respect yalls opinion. I don't share it, but you aren't insane for having it.

difference between me and you I guess.

Hmm...This thread has been VERY helpful to me.

I see now who is the main SWAC School AGAINST expansion because they would have the most to lose.

It is all starting to make sense.

No.... but going back down to d2 where y'all really belong would

maybe. maybe. but you just made my point...the game wouldn't alleviate the numbers.

its amazing how there is no ability to have a different opinion here. Its either agree with us, or we take cheap shots...

but its cool. I don't agree with the champ being forced to play the game. I do agree with having the game.

and anyone who doesn't agree with me isn't insane. we just don't agree.

scstatealum,

Please do not be offended by the comments of the Jaguar Nation. They are still salty because Attendence is the only thing they have to offer. Take that away and they are regular just like everyone else.

Jaguar Nation, understand this is NOT the 90s. Your name doesn't intimidate like it use to.

So what's your solution in stopping the ($39,118,248) bleeding South Carolina State University has accumulated in the past 9 years? And it gets worse if I removed Student Fees from the revenue stream.

You do realize this is a message board, Yes? Stop trying to pass people opinions off as words from the respective conferences...1st your "reliable source," now this. :smh:  :emlaugh:

My reliable source works in the office of Jenkins agent and was in the negotiations. I don't make up stuff
She wrote the contract that Jenkins signed. But you know, i don't knwo what I'm talking about.

I'll leave it at this. Let's see if the vote passes The MEAC presidents. And if so, what the fallout is.

I guess you want to see Alcorn's financial numbers too. Put it like this, it's not a pretty sight. You would have to sell a whole lot of nookie just to break even. :emlaugh:

Those numbers sure didn't affect the product on the field. Just admit that SU is scared of SWAC Expansion because it will make you work harder and reel in influence. Competition breeds improvement.
