Does anyone on the page Roller Skate? I roll every once and a while and wanted to know if anyone in the ATL rolls?
 
I thought this thread was about hair rollers...LOL

I havent' been on roller skates in sooooo long....I use to love it as a child though.
 



Me three.

I can Crazy Leg (a little), hit that backwards strut, and hit pairs skating.

St. Louis, Chicago & Cleveland got the best skaters I've seen.
 
I work with the kids at my church and we go skating about once a year. I am no "superstar" on skates, but I don't fall and bust my butt either.
 
Yeah, I can roller skate but, not very fast. I can even skate backwards. If I go, it's when the old people & little babies are there. :lol: Otherwise, I'm liable to be run over on Fri. - Sun. nights.

Girl YES, :lol: I just can't stop... We need to get together and go skating on Sunday Nights.
 
This summer, when I was a summer camp counselor, we went about once a week, sometimes twice. I love to skate! I'm good at it too. But I'm tall and bo-legged, so I can't roller blade or it'll fukc up my ankles.

Down here, a radio DJ started throwing these ADULT skate nights on Thursdays from 9pm to 1:00...I haven't been yet, but i bet it's crunk!
 
I love to skate. It is a great workout. I go with church friends. I would like to invest in my own pair. They have them at Academy Sports. :idea:


I thought you were gonna be talking about folks with a head full of those pink and green rollers in Cortana Wal-mart. :shame:

Man I used to go to Baker Rollerland in Baker(north of BR) and the other skating rink by Cortana Mall. Everybody used to have their b/d parties there back in the day. All I used to do is break dance and roller skate. I could speed skate, backwards a little. Last time I tried to skate I had just crossed Alpha in 1996 and they had a party at the skating rink in Addis(West of BR) and lets just say the "purple sack" and coca cola was flowing all thru the blood stream.

Boy am I glad that part of me is DEAD!!

I found out that the "purple sack" and alot of activities dont go together, like bowling. I went bowling one time and fell/slide down the lane with my ball! :emlaugh:
 
I roll, I used to even travel with my skates (currently breaking in a new pair)! And Bandfan didn't lie when he said Chi-town does it best!
