What a difference a year makes for North Carolina A&T and Grambling State.

This time last season the Grambling Tigers — led by then head coach Rod Broadway — were battling eventual Southwestern Athletic Conference champion Texas Southern for the Western Division crown.

North Carolina A&T on the other hand, was in the middle of what turned out to be a 1-10 season and a last place spot in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

check of the conference standings find the Tigers (1-4) in last place of the SWAC’s Western Division while the Aggies (3-2) have vaulted to second place in the MEAC and unbeaten in league play.

Ya think Broadway is sniggling and giggling just a little bit right now?
They knocked off BCC 22-3 last week with hapless Deleware State and HOWARD comming up the next 2 games.
 
DouG Mr. G-Thang is the best thing that ever happen to GSU. Grambling folks just don't know how lucky they are. DouG has said he will become the face of the SWAC. We in the SWAC are so glad that DouG has comeback to save us.

I wonder what that Bornthrilla guy is saying over there. I think he's snickering at Gram for basically giving Broadway away for free.
 
Broadway aint half the coach Doug is. Just give Doug a chance to get some players on that team since Broadway didnt. B'way left garbage.
 
Maybe he is playing against garbage. Im not saying the guy cant coach..Im sure he is a dececnt coach...but he aint on Dougs level. All he did was sit down on Dougs/Spears talent...didnt recruit another decent soul and doug is suffering with his crap. Give Doug ONE recruiting class...just one.

Bway didnt recruit a soul last year. He knew he was leaving so he left Doug holding the bag. I cant believe yall dont see this

Broadway went to a team that has only won 8 games total since 2006. For what its worth, NCA&T been MORDERN DAY garbage since 2004 because they only won 6 games from 2004-2005. Broadway can equal the total wins in a single season since 2004 for NCA&T in 6 games...........4 :lol:
 



damn shame how they did Broadway just bc he didnt bow down to the street commitee and called the dog and pony show exactly what it is.
 
GR, it seems that in your knowledge of Broadway was not a coach at all but it was all Spears and Doug. Yet, Doug was gone 4 years before Broadway got there.

Spears last season he went 3-8....that following season Broadway went 8-3....

So from that Quantitative Research here is a decision:

Concerning the issue of Williams as a coach that is a null given the 4 year time span of players connected with said Williams in relation to Broadway. Hence the only players left would have been reshirted players during Williams' last season. Next given the Grambling Tigers were 3-8 with "talent" and given Broadway utilized some of the players from previous seasons; Broadway was able to motivate and recruit the needed players to sustain a positive integer.

This is proven by his record and championship.

Furthermore, Broadway coached up the players to win.
 
I wasnt sold on BCu when they beat PV and without a lucky call against Hampton they would have a worse record.. The MEAC is not as strong as they would like use to beleive..
 
The sad part about is Doug was golden to you GSU folks 5 to 6 years ago, now yall hate him. :lol: He started off 3-8, then went on to win titles after titles.

True, but when one a coach constantly blames Dwight Mann for things not going his way in life, or says we are not going to play "them" now because they would play "us" back then, or bitch over a school not giving comp tickets to his players when they have already given you 7500 to do with what you please, or to constantly remind folk that "these kids are not mine cause I just got on campus in March", or to find bullshit reasons to get rid of key players little shit, or to tell people there is no need to play with a sense of urgency even though the team is 1-4...you just have to say STFU and coach, cause the person you have replaced is making you look like an ass with less at another program.

You guys came in with a new coach, QB and a host of other unknowns. They were the experienced team and it showed. Yet they had some holes and weakness that were clear. They haven't looked the same since that game but PV has improved.....

They are 2-3 and should be 1-4 with that lucky call in the Hampton game. No TV no overturned call..

Right now they are lucky to be 2-3 while PV is what 4-2...
