Don't. Ever. Compare. That. White. Boy. To. Marvin. Gaye. Again.

Ever.

Not saying he Marvin Gay........Nobody is.

But white boy or not, he got a better R&B soul sound then 90% of the black guys out there in the R&B field and the other 10% can't distance themselves from him. His shat is tight. Anybody that say it ain't is telling a big azz lie.

The boy can blow and flow........... forget him being white.

Yeah.

Robin is smooth and got that Marvin kind of feel to him so I can see how someone might compare the two.

Could have anything to do with all the hate? ...

Seriously, wife Paula Patton aside, someone must have asked if Thicke sampled Marvin Gaye's "After The Dance" in his "Love After War Song". Although not exactly alike, the chords and style are very similar.

Robin Thicke's parents (Alan Thicke and Gloria Loring from Days of our Lives) ... wrote game show theme songs and TV show themes... His mother did the Facts of Life theme and Alan did Diff'rent Strokes...Alan also was a writer on The Richard Pryor Special and Richard Pryor Show
