I admit I dont really watch tv that much... but when did Robin Roberts leave ESPN or did she leave ESPN? I saw her on a news show on ABC today.

She works for both networks. ABC and ESPN are owned by Disney
 
I know Robin Roberts attended Southeastern Louisiana (SLU) and played basketball there but I've heard from one person that she is from Biloxi and another persont told me she is from Tuskegee. Anybody know where she's really from?

She is from Mississippi. She was a pretty good ball player at SLU too. I want to say that she left as the all-time leading scorer for the program. She was offered a scholarship to play at Ole Miss, but said she just could not see herself playing for a school that waived that confederate flag.

I always liked Robin. Knowing she turned Ole Piss down for that reason makes me like her even more.
 
In 1983, Roberts graduated cum laude from Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor of arts degree in communications. She was also a standout performer on the women's basketball team, ending her career as the school's third-all-time leading scorer (1,446 points) and rebounder (1,034).

Roberts, a Mississippi Gulf Coast native, was born Tuskegee, Ala. She currently resides in Manhattan.

Born in Alabama, grew up in Mississippi, and went to school in Louisiana. - LOL!!!
 
Her dad was a Tuskegee Airmen. They did a Good Morning America special on her when she went back to Tuskegee to fly in a plane like the ones her dad flew in.

She can't much more "dirty, dirty" than that!
 
She makes "High Marks" in my book. Sometime ago they did a special on them...Robin, Diane and Gruppy Charlie which they filmed them from the time they got up in the morning to "Air" time. Out of all of them, Robin was the only one that "Prayed" before she started her day.

She said her prayer "Prayer of Protection", she emphasized that she never leave home without it.......talk about "Roots'-----Grandma didn't raise no Fool.
 



Robin was a standout on ESPN and she is holding it down on GMA ... ABC needs to realize that there are more minority personnel who can definitely hold their own on national television
 
Robin's....
........a damn good sports analyst, sports reporter and one hech of an anchor for Good Morning America. I just hope that Disney and ABC know exactly what they've got and rewards her with a contract that is comparable (if not better) with her peers. She is a lot more versitle and can do more than those 'bleached blonde bimbo's'.

I do miss her Sunday NFL Review with Tom Jackson, 'Boomer' Berman and Steve Young.
