The committee pairs the two lowest-rated teams in the field for a "play-in" game, scheduled for March 16 in Dayton, Ohio. As of Thursday, SLC leader Texas-San Antonio and SWAC leader Alabama State are the designated play-in participants. The winner advances to the main bracket as a No. 16 seed (with a Friday-Sunday site preferred).

Toi, that is what was posted on Bracketology after Valley lost. If you go abd look at it they are showing Coppin St as the Meac winner. But there is another chance that the Swac champ could miss the play-in game if CalState-Northridge beats University of the Pacific in the Big West Final tonight. They also have a losing record.
