Trust me, I wont be telling you to go anywhere. And there are alot of people attracted to me. But what I saw in him, so far...I have yet to meet anyone that measures up. And rather either one of us get bored with one another and cheat, we had an open relationship. The relationship had no problems. Never any jealousy...we both have a clean bill of health...it was just this mis communication recently that peeved me. And what does a porn star equate to this?

I have no doubt you are a very attractive woman with a lot to offer a man. That is why I really find this open relationship concept hard to believe. I am not trying to disrespect you in anyway and if I have I will apologize now. I don’t get paid any more money by who is in your bed. You might be the exception to the rule but most women don’t like a setup like that for a long period time especially good looking confident women. Eventually women will want more. What I mean about more is to be exclusive. I made the reference to a porn star because I get the impression that you feel sex is just sex and it does not mean anything to you other than quick gratification. Again, most women don’t think that way. A porn star just looks at sex as a job and not even pleasure. But eventually a porn star is going to want an exclusive relationship. Again no disrespect intended and I am just telling you what I would tell my sister, daughter or any female I have high regards for. A smart good looking woman such as yourself should want more, expect more, and even demand more from a man. I refuse to believe you only found a man that measure up to being ok with you sleeping with other people. Man can be just as positive as women. Cee Dog said it right, a man will agree to that with somebody else’s woman but not his own. But like I tell my grown daughters, it is your life if you are happy than I am happy.

FYI,
there are plenty of people in open relationships around the world that live happily. In some countries, men marry 10 or more women and none of them complain. These women also have boy toys.

I used to hang with a few swingers in NOLA that were pretty content. I even went to Colette's with them once :scared:.

I'm willing to bet that's why they were content: no constraints on doing what they wanted to do in relationship(s) and being open/honest about it. We all feel better when we can be free to be ourselves.

Chick in the background, is she sayin': "Open relationship or Not, Just get me out of ATL!!!!"???

Bad night... I only saw a few Wolfmen jocking every woman walking past. The rest, came with their own men...guess they learned too...

I think men need to stop fooling ourselves. There are plenty of single women who don't want husbands, babies or need a relationship. We buy into the fact that women always want love. That is not true. A woman has a prize that every man in the world wants. She knows that and can have a man anytime, day or hour. A woman knows she can have half a leg, one pinky toe, one fanger nail and two teeth, and some man will still want her. Gone are the days of women being politically correct. They now chose what they want and how they get it. These women got money, real careers and plenty of guys chasing them. Don't be fooled.

What's the point of an open relationship.:lecture:
Either you committed or you a single mofo dating and screwing.

People come up with the weirdest shat to excuse what they do.
Just be honest with yourselves and stop all this I love you but we can screw other people openly crap. :smh:

In my opinion, I think that is being honest. Everybody don't want to be tied down to one person, but they want to enjoy the benefits that come along with a committed relationship. It may not be right or what works for you (generally speaking), but it works for some people. Open relationships aren't for everybody. I'm not in one and never been in one, but I can see how it works for some.

Like Cee mentioned, everybody (even women) doesn't want a relationship but she may want to enjoy the benefits that come along with having someone in their life (ie, the quality time/intimacy/consistent companionship, etc.) And at the same time, be free to explore and enjoy other options of seeing another person. And it doesn't necessarily mean that that person is sleeping with everybody she/he befriends. It's simply having "your cake and eating, too", as I mentioned on yesterday.

I'mma say it again...CT AIN'T GETTING IT... :smh:

CT, that's cause you are an ole skool country gal. Look, these women in the big cities have always been that way. It is just now that these country gals are feeling liberated. This is no different from the man or woman who dates the married person on the side for years. We all know of someone in our home towns who has been there and done it. Folks just are more open with it now.

All this talk n debate concerning someone ELSEs life and THEIR relationships with someone thats not you, is starting to make me think that some of ya'll suck @ life of your own..

I personally think its the Dumbest SHAT Ive ever heard of... But thats just me.... Either youre 2-gether or SINGLE..... Its no inbetween.... It makes NO Sense.......

Although Maybe it does make sense............................... its a relationship for 2 Confused Scared Mofos..... Scared of being in LOVE and Scared of not being in LOVE:noidea:

I can see everyone's point, but who really GAF. :noidea: If that's what she wants, then so be it. I've learned to stop worrying about what other grown folks are doing & why they're doing it, because grown folks are going to do what they want to do. Different strokes for different folks.

 @ JagGrad.

Well my thing is if I want to be single and be involved with other people, I don't want the dealings and no parts of a relationship, period. If I want any dealings of a relationship, i'll get unsingle and glue myself in one. Screw the wax on, wax off, put ya feet in the water, pull em out. Until then, don't put/tag the word relationship nowhere around what we doing, because I have a higher respect for it and don't consider "open" used in that context as apart of how I view it. I spent most of my high school, college, and mid 20s either in a relationship or getting over one, yes i'll want one again someday, but it feels pretty good with it just being about me. Plus, I aint done frolickin. :lecture: But thats just me and how it beez with me. Yall please do yall though, hea?

Exactly!
Might be why I don't see a problem with open relationships. I'm not in one, but I can see how someone is.

What I do find funny in America lately is that we criticize two heterosexual folks for dating situations, yet we sympathize with two same sex mofo's. We will dog Bill and Jane out, but turn the other cheek for Bill and Will. :shame: I don't get it. Only in the AA community. Pastor got plenty of sermons for man and woman, but we don't say nothing about him and him.

Well, I don't agree with homosexuality...but hey once again, do you. I don't really GAF what other folks are doing. If they wanna play around with the same sex, have at it...just don't be trying to bone me while you're getting boned ya damn self.
