The "Icon" of BCF
When the G-MEN win the SWAC again in December, I will personally recommend for the Cartel to be disbanded. There will be no need. It is no secret that the 2003 and beyond G-MEN seasons will be shear domination. However, the 2002 G-MEN, with all the inexperience and question marks, will rekindle the fear and doubt teams have grown accustomed throughout the storied, tradition-filled existence of Grambling football.

Face it -- we are Grambling -- the I_ _ _ of BCF. It does not get any better than Icon Gram, and never will. Talent-wise Icon Gram is a few years ahead of the SWAC. Our current system has a 1/2 chance of winning championships. Our defense and special teams are second to none. These two units alone give the G-MEN eight wins. Since Doug's first year (1998), no offense has averaged less 26.1 pts/game (26.1 -'98; 28.6 - '99; 25 -'00; and 37.5 - '01). Are you clowns serious (at least 26.1 points per game, our defense, and Brian Morgan)? With the likes of traditionless, decade-renowned SUcks, and the second coming of the Buffalo Bills - my only concern is whether Icon Gram will beat you by 2 or 3 Tds. We won the SWAC in a rebuilding year in 2000; and we are much better off in terms of coaching, talent, and championship experience. robber and GR are fooling these young SP cats with this Kint Testaverde rhetoric -- knowing this guy can not read basic man-to-man defense. Poor TP is as illusional and confused as ever. Traditionless SUcks is not worthy of comment -- their only claim to fame is captilizing on the transition era of Gram. :( :(

October 26, 2002 will be the death of this pipe dream. lol. Don't worry GSU, we will have a nice funeral for your football program. We'll even have a special song dedicated to them from a few JSU fans.........

This morning when they rose yea

This morning when they rose yea
They didn't have no doubt
This morning when they rose yea

They were going agaaaain
But then J-State said...

This morning when they got up out of they bed yall
They didnt have no dou.................................
lol

Honestly, after Mach hooked the Cartel up with the tape of the spring game (I was not impressed all), but relative to what Buffalo and SUcks have coming back I quickly grew more optimistic. I thought about the six times Kint telegraphed his passes to G-MEN defenders (no check-offs); the thought of Reeshard leading a JV team to victory much less a traditionless collegiate one -- I sat back and surfed the net for plane tickets to B-HAM.

BTW, I bet Buffalo will not make it to B-HAM. For the third consecutive year, Gram will play a new opponent and whip their @$$. Clowns, remember we still are Grambling! :eek2:

Not exhale.....................................................................................

If you seriously expect anyone to take you serious when you are gonna have 9 NEW starters on offense, 9 guys who have not faced the week-in and week-out rigors of SWAC football, 9 guys who will faced with new challenges for them every weekend, 9 guys who are experience-LESS for the most part, 9 of 11 guys and you are replacing at every position, 1 of 9 who won't be able to run away from Prairie View's D-Line, much less J-State's, Alcorn, or Southern's .......

THEN YOU MUST HAVE WENT AND GRADUATED FROM GRAMBLING.

Cause nobody else in this conference can be that damn STUPID! (Except the SWAC Office itself .....)
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I know what NT said, but damn, you have got to be kidding me. So, in your minds, while having to replace nine starters, you remember to talk about ONE guy from Southern and ONE guy from Jackson State and forgot to mention ONE guy from Alcorn? Y'all are in a CLASS by yourselves ..... definitely remedial !

The yellas can smack all they want, that's a woman's perogative. But the bottom line is SU is in decline. Over the past 3 years, the win-loss record hovers around .500

Pete is desperate for recruiting help! He hasn't been able to get the same high school talent as brought in when Kaiss was the recruiting coordinator. Fortunately he was able to get several kids that DiNardo didn't want and who Saban feels are not SEC caliber players. Most of these kids did not transfer, they were "encouraged" to leave.

I'm still lmao at the OC hiring that was done. Pete went out and hired a former tight ends coach from Tulane. Funny thing is, Tulane didn't even have a tight-end in their offense. I bet this big Bubba Sparks looking dude was "encouraged" to leave by the Tulane staff. I guess he really is still pissed at Eric R for sending his brother to LSU...SAD!!!!

This song must be about GSU....

If you seriously expect SUcks to beat any contender with Cody Smith as a DB, two overmatched offensive tackles (too slow for Gram's D ends), no running game (there is no running game against Icon Gram); Joubert as a WR, a healed or unhealed Hayes (C. Brown will humble him regardless); a lackluster D-line, and an ineffective special teams -- then you must have settled for Southern University degree. With the athletic and strong tackles coming in at Icon Gram all Bruce has to do is drop back and throw. Mobility at the Qb position has become a 90s to present thing. The majoirty of Qbs are pocket passers. Your comments are like those typical obtuse Jags that smack on hope. Didn't SUcks give up like 300 yds against PV in a half? ROTF! Didn't SUcks lose to Kint again? Didn't Icon Gram score 27 points in like 5 minutes. LOL. You see settling for a SUcks degree fosters ignorance and superficial thinking. Our nine new starters will be better than the majority of SUcks starters (for the low comprehending Jag). This is no smack.

If you ever watched Jackson State, their heart and soul is Kint. They offer nothing defensively. On the other hand SUcks offers nothing. Dr. Thomas can not beat Grambling. I like Carrie though.

Mike, how many championships did you project Icon Gram to win this decade? You are batting a .1000 -- typical Gramblinite. Obtuse Jag, how do you calculate 0/2 in Scotlandville?

Oh no, no I won't let go
Holding on and I won't let go of my faith, of my faaaaiiiiiiith

The SU program is in decline. Nothing against Pete, he is a good coach. Not a great coach, but a good coach. He does a really good job of getting his players to play hard and he doesn't do anything to beat himself. But he simply doesn't get the caliber of players needed to beat the upper echelon HBCU's.

For one thing, he is too stubborn to hire a qb coach. He had a good one in Johnny Cole but decided that Cole was expendable after JC cussed out Orlando. Logic would have you think that he would hire Eric R as a qb coach, but I guess it's an ego thing.
It really helps to have a former qb on the staff...Hymes improved dramatically in his second year under Doug. Kennedy flourished under Johnny Cole, Although Kent int's went up, he also benefitted from Ausberry (a former qb) being on the staff.

But I guess the best way to improve your qb play is to hire a white tight end coach as your OC. SU Logic!

Couple a white TE coach and a team with no TE, a 30 yr old old crimpled WR, a Qb that can not throw a baseball through a hula hoop, a head coach faster than his DBs, and most importantly a traditionless history equals typical Southern University football.

back-to-back-to-back-- how ya luv that?

THE _ _ _ PART IS THAT IF THE REST OF THE SWAC CAN'T MUSTER UP A WIN AGAINST THE ICON IN 2002... THEY WON'T STAND A CHANCE 2003-2005 ;)

LOL!!! No running game? I could have sworn a guy by the name of Victor Ike is here at Southern now and practicing with the football team. :D

Just wait!

You guys just don't realize what's about to happen to you. But that's okay, the element of surprise will be on our side. Just continue to believe what you want to believe. When you wake from your nightmare this fall just remember that you were warned.

ps. Victor Ike, Marcus Newman, and Bo Jackson will leave their size 12 footprints on all your azzes!

May I?

Looking at it from an analytical perspective, Grambling has 9 new starters out of a total of 11 starters on offense. This equates to 82% of your offense will be non-starters from last year correct?

OK.

This in essence means your offense will score (on average that is) 82% less points per game this year as opposed to 2001. If in 2001 Grambling averaged 37.5 points per game then GSU should average 6.75 points per game in 2002.

This will translate into 82% more losses in 2002...

82% less fans...

82% less revenues...

82% less posters...

In other words, Grambling will struggle in 2002.

Carry on.

The fact that Tessie Sue lost her azz off with 10 returning defensive starters makes your comments invalid...actually, I was thinking impotent but that wouldn't be nice.

So it's all about a prop rb, a crippled one game wonder (75 yards, Wow!) and a texas washout that was encouraged to leave. But I'm waiting for you to tell me that he wanted to leave UT for play at Ole Yella:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Man that is :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: classic, I had :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: never thought even you yellas would actually believe that...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Man believing Ike wanted to leave UT is like believing Pete wanted a hair cut:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

umm GSupe,
If gram is able to get to Bham, the refs won't save you this time. With an improved defense and our always high powered offense, the HORNETS gon win this thing.

Everyone keeps talking about the players missing on offense and defense. I am not trying to be funny but this is not the sec or big 12.All you need is 1 or 2 good transfers and you can beat most of the teams.gram has those transfers in wait .don't get it confused this is not the pros."the rigors of swac football" what rigors are they.I f you win you play for scg and that's it .ther is no glitz and glammer to it.Southern is too garbage .Cody smith is hot garbage and the other kid 31 he plain stinks. How can they stop anyone from scoring 40 points or more.Reetard is straight sad. that boy is terrible.Hayes can be back if he wants to.It tkaes time to heal an injury like that.Who is going to throw him the ball.I htink gram can abotu 9 games and make it the scg against Alcorn .

If you are worrying about Codie Smith, then YOU are in trouble.
If you think we will have no running game with the names mentioned in above posts and adding Singleton, Vernon, and a few others, then YOU are in trouble.
If you can only remember Joubert and Hayes of a group that has a nice history of messing over Grambling DB's, figuratively and literally, then YOU are in trouble.
If you think you are going to get by with JUST Brian Morgan, then you are NOT in trouble .... Your DUMB.
If you think the special teams advantage hasn't come back to SU this season with Mattingly, Vernon, Miller, etc., that's your ass.
If you make comments like this one IN THE SWAC ---->"Mobility at the Qb position has become a 90s to present thing. The majoirty of Qbs are pocket passers, YOU'RE BLIND!

Didn't SUcks give up like 300 yds against PV in a half? ROTF! Didn't SUcks lose to Kint again? Didn't Icon Gram score 27 points in like 5 minutes
An I CON swinging on PV's chain, getting jiggy over a three point loss, and talking about a game where they did not score anything in almost the last two quarters ..... again?

Our nine new starters will be better than the majority of SUcks starters .....This is no smack

You're right .... this is NOT smack. It is a JOKE that we all get the punchline to, but you won't get it until September.

BTW, Math whiz, If you win 2/11 games, you coach gets fired. If you make a 2/11 on a test, you fail and your name is Brad Hill, and if you have 2/11 offensive starters returning .... you see where I'm going with this. Then again, WE know Grambling is NOT known for their MATH prowless, don't we Mr. Kyle.

MH,

Your defense is not improved. You are just depleted on offense like Gram is.

GSupe,

Trust me when I tell you that the heart and soul of our team is NOT Kent anymore. The heart of this team during the Spring was the defense. I have never seen such intensity. Your offense will need to be very physical to and have a lot of heart to stand up to this defense.

I know you remember the last time JSU came and took over Robinson Stadium. We did not have a clue about defense. This time you will see a more potent JSU offense and a much better defense than you faced in 2000. Right now my JSU-Gram prediction is:

JSU 42
Gram 13

With this defense, our second string will play a lot this year. Can you imagine how many points this JSU offense will score with some help from the defense??!!!

Ya'll in trouble. I really think SUcks has a better chance of meeting JSU in Bham than Gram simply because of your early loss to Alcorn.

This IS your brain after a four year education at Grambling State University ..... any questions?

BTW, what is your obession with Codie Smith? Afraid to talk about Lenny or Terrence? Codie was the one who took Hymes back about 60 or 70 yards for a score. But, by all means, focus on Codie. I want you to. While you are doing that, your offensive line can continue picking that tub of goo off the Superdome floor.

You mention 40 points kid. Didn't that "sorry" defense stop your ass for 30 even though it was obvious you were trying to push it up. If you think Richard is sad, wait until Eugene tries to run from Jabari Greene, Ledrick Francois, Lenny coming on blitzes, and a improved and faster d-line blowing through an, at least, 3/5 new offensive line corp for you. Hayes is the least of your problems little boy. Joubert, Nelson, Ard, Vernon, Plain, Joseph all have the speed to blow through you man. And if you think Hayes hasn't been waiting to get back on Brown since the BC two year ago, you might want to get that kid a BC powder now cause it's going to be along day for him.

Statistically speaking...

Any dayum team with a 1-8 record against their SUperior shouldn't be talkin' bout a dayum thang!!! You don't even own the SERIES record!!!

DAYUM country bumpkin arse "lack and old" Triggers.

Just be sure that you bring enough kleenex for Eddie AND Doug whiny arse for this year's much anticipated BEAT DOWN at the BC.

And oh...remember to remove that dayum cotton from his mouth "wen he uh gives dem uhhhhhhhh...inna-vews, cuz he uhhhhh sho be tellin' it lak it tiz huh, cuz?"
:lmao:

Good thread.

One question? Why do you SU people keep throwing Joubert up in our face? What the hell has he done to warrant such attention? That dude aint did squat. I think yall just like his name. I have to give it to him....thats a cool french name...Shhhooobear. Other than that, the kid aint all that.

Gram folks,

Your silence since spring training began and since your spring game is so loud. You have said so much without saying a word. We all know you are garbage on offense and defense and you are going to get taken to the woodshed this year. Missing those LBs and that DL is going to hurt. I think you guys realize that.

Remember when MikeBig use to make up some dubious thread every week about Grambling. He hasnt been doing that since the spring.....and we all know why.

Hymes made a lot of plays with his legs. Remember he use to do that little bootleg play. Can you just see old Refrigerator Eugene trying to run a bootleg?

You guys are in trouble this year. I think you know that you are in for some lumps this year and maybe next. But if you dont think so....well....thats so cute.
