Remember when a certain school was pissed because they got boycotted?





Is it just me, or does the title of this thread make ZERO sense? According to the thread that is referenced, JSU was suggesting they, along with SU, boycott away SWAC games on their respective schedules. To summarize... what the hell are you talking about, buddy?

The long awaited answer to the question is there something in the water has finally been answered.

I start a thread on JSU hypocrisy about boycotting and this unsmart guy calls it spinning because I won't allow him to change it.

On March 4, 2014, JSU is not under the NCAA radar.
SU is and that is fact.

You can dig up all the long dead threads you want. I said back in 2010 when EVERYBODY on this board was cheering for JSU Athletics to be kicked out the NCAA, that I was taking no prisnors and had no sorrow for none of ya. :lol:

Actually my comprehension skills are pretty good, you used the incorrect term. A boycott is a refusal to be a patron of a business or event. Maybe you can think of the US boycotting the Olympics a few decades ago. But maybe you are thinking of when JSU and SU were BANNED from the SCG. It seems your vocabulary skills are lacking,

You need to talk to Rudley (TxSU President). Isn't he the chairman of the Council of Presidents? I am assuming he voted YES for this to happen. So SU has nothing to do with the decision like you said. Duer is only doing what those Presidents allow him to do.

If these Presidents had voted No and not gotten the NCAA to agree to this. I think the 4 schools would have taken their medicine with no issue. UAPB is still pissed at the NCAA for their paperwork being fugged up on the NCAA end and I feel we are getting double jeopardy because the NCAA knows exactly what happened under our previous admin. That's only thing I can see why folks may be for us going. I said we should stay home in BR. But like you said. Someone high up made these decisions.

But Frat, SU was right there with you. You only had Football to be banned. We had Football and Basketball banned. I think we had some track teams banned too. That's what is getting folks. Nobody clowned yall but the schools in the EAST. Mainly Bama schools. SU was in no position to be clowning then and I do not remember many SU folks messing with yall except to keep telling JSU posters that you were not the only ones banned.

We on the radar for the same isht that got us banned in 2010. Not for new isht. Once the NCAA realizes they ain't going to get isht from that era of the last AD and just come up with a punishment and be done with it. Then we can move on. It is not like we got APR issues with the student athletes after the initial ban. That's is what people are not following.

Wasn't any records made up. LOL. Whatever LaFluer sent in got approved initially until they went back through them. If they were incomplete then. They will be incomplete now. Nothing changed.

We had reason to complain cause we had higher APR scores than folks who weren't banned. Plus our team was one of the better SWAC teams. su's teams on the other hand weren't worth jack, so it's understandable why you guys weren't upset one bit.
And you had also just come off APR problems the year before being banned and you still couldn't get it right, so you were banned for not being able to make 900. I think at the time you had a 899. Sound familar?

See you tell lies so much you can't keep up. Jones has always been giving credit for graduating players. Jones problem was winning big games, not graduating players.
