RED River Classic

Possible contributing factors could be weather (drops) and layoff
(penalty)...Are they motion penalties, holding, or late hits?

Agressive athletes, close scrutiny by officials...would like fewer, but hell just win!

I think we need to recognize what I consider to be a real bright spot for the G-Men. I know this might sound crazy but I was kinda happy to see the offense just not roll over UAPB at the start of the game. We kicked some FG's early on and I find comfort in knowing we can count on our kicker to make some FG's, unlike last year when you didnt know what would happen but expected the worse. Morgan's attempts weren't chipshots either, and ofcourse, the weather conditions are not conducive to kicking FG's. He kicked FG's from 39, 42, and 44 yards out. And although he missed a 43 yarder when he hit the upright and there was a botched extra point at the beginning of the game, I feel good about our kicking game. Nice to be strong in all facets of the game.

I agree...this kid makes us strong in all aspects of the game.

Ain't nothing like red zone efficiency...3 points virtually guaranteed are always good.

Field Goal Good.

GSU 46
UAPB 7

GSU has intercepted a pass and is driving down field.

Word is JSU beat Southern, 24-21

This team has too much power. I am pretty sure we are taking it easy on PB, knowing that Doug does not run up the score. There is a full quarter left -- wow!
