Random Thoughts From the Preseason

mighty hornet

The HMIC!!
Since ASU is clearly the SWAC's dominant power and is simply LOADED, its sooo obvious the fear most of you have. So, there aren't many concerns or thoughts I have going into the season.

But I can't let my long time subscribers down, so on with a few thoughts.......

ASU will start the season with a win at Legion Field. ASU will end the season with a win at Legion Field. Period.

The only real question is who will serve as our fodder in the SCG. I think we owe that country school in north Losesiana a whooping (after that FLUKE (thanks SOGGY) in 01)
of course, if we just have to drag the other Loseiana school to Bham again and kick them again, we will.

Even more reason for yall to be afraid----including our SCG win, the HORNETS have 8 games in the great state of Alabama.

The SWAC's offensive player of the year. The SWAC's defensive player of the year. The SWAC's leading rusher the last two years :eek:...... DAMN!!!!!!

I tell ya, the cameras shole do love ASU. But considering the team we have, its really not surprising at all.

It's real _ _ _ that the group formerly known as the mouthfia still won't answer the question of "why is D. Bell still the coach?" :smh:

Vowels really ought to give some consideration to splitting up the two Bamas in different divisions. That way, we could battle it out for the football championship. (you know, the same way we do in basketball)
:lol::

ummmm GR,
you're from jsue. And you don't know a damn thing about football. (thanks D. Bell)
:lol::lol:

btw, after that lil "newspaper thing", you can forget about a polo shirt (thanks MD) this year.
:lmao::lmao::lmao:

MH:

I whole heartedly agree that State will start the season in great fashion. I wish I could be there, but I've got plans to be in Nashville that same evening.

You believe that ASU will start the season and end the season with wins in B'Ham. I see that you omitted any reference to a win during the middle of the season in the Magic City. I am in complete agreement with your vision for this season.

I am a little perplexed, though. I did not know that the Turkey Day Classic had been moved to B'Ham. Sometimes current events pass me by. But that will provide State with a winnable game to conclude the season.

Ironically, A&M will also have a season-ending victory in Legion Field, sometime around the first or second weekend in December. I think A&M's victim will be Jaguars, partly because they will be stupid enough to play us again after we spoil that homecoming celebrations. I don't think the G-Men will want to be in that SCG game against us. If they were afraid to play us at night in the middle of the week on a cable channel with limited viewership, then clearly they would be afraid to play us in the middle of the day on a network with a more inclusive tv audience.

But this is your thread. Don't let me digress and ruin it.

:lmao: man ain't nobody scared of aamu. That was a favor from Jeffries to Jones. He didn't want Jones first trip to Da Pit to be broadcast all over the tri-state area.

Random thoughts:
What week will J-State cross the 50?
Has Bama North ever won a football game in LA?
Will they get tapped by 30 pts again this year?

Random fact

Bell kick Rams ass like no other
the few ram fans present were quieter than Lil Kim in church

In recent years, there's been little reason for comfort on the Jackson State campus. The once-dominant program, which has won 15 SWAC titles and produced NFL great Walter Payton, is in the midst of a free-fall.
.

And they still manage to walk all over Ramblin in Bell Carson Robinson Stadium....just like everyone else did.

Bell said Jackson State could exceed those expectations because the Tigers are in their third year of learning his intricate offensive and defensive schemes.
well damn!

D. Bell really take jsue folks for some dummies. but then again, he's already said that 99% of 'em don't know a damn thing about football.
:smh:

it's all so damn _ _ _! Seriously
:(

ummmm JROCK,
Pavlov!

hey MH,

After watching that ass whipping that SC STATE put down on yall yesterday, and believe me the game wasnt as close as the score, are yall still loaded? Man they abused yall....too bad those two TDs got called back for them.

Yall are just holding back for the SWAC huh? Yall just didnt want the SWAC to see all those secret weapons huh? GR knows it. Yall are really good, but you just didnt want to show your hand too soon. Great show.

:snicker:

But its not like GR didnt know it. ASU cant even beat Tuskegee. And did yall ever get Jackson off the ground? Seems like he spent a lot of time there.

And thanks for embarrassing the SWAC yet again. We really needed that. GR dont know why you country nukkas always get to embarrass the SWAC.

Hey MH

You musta left your lucky hat again???
GR cant wait to hear your random thoughts from Bham....this should be good.

Probably in a corner wishing he had never talked shiznit about Jackson State! :lol: :emlaugh:

Man GR got tired of seeing that #19 and #21 and #22 just run up and down the field on a team that is as loaded as Bama State is.

Did they cross the 50?

Either Bama State aint loaded or Coe is a bad coach. Which one do you think it is?
