I'm learning as I go along. I got a head ache now. I'm going to get something to eat.
But, before I let go,...I got 2 different voices on one staff. How do I get the stems in the top voice to go up allowing the stems in the second voice to remain down??????

I was wrong. I have Finale 2000, the same one you on and it makes the beam go down automatically.
