Question: Why do the fastest kids/players seems to come from places far south?

The closest to the equator you go, the faster the people are. Why is that? Do the heat play a part in that? Are the kids running fast to keep cool?
 



It's the place where the most of US black folks are in the United States and of course the Caribbean reside. LOL. Simple.

BTW, unless you have been to a country that is really close to the equator. You don't know hot. LOL. Singapore send help.
But it don't help them be fast. Haven't seen any of those folks close to the equator be really fast. Like Usain Bolt fast.

Africans have endurance in the distance running due to their climate in some of the countries and their build.


Genetics have alot to do with it.

True, seems the fastest is around the Florida, Jamacia, Carribeans area. Those Africans tho. I believe they traded fast for endurance. You can't tell me that they weren't fast to begin with. Out there with lions, cheetahs, and other fast predators.

So what's the difference in a Cali 4.3-40 and a Florida 4.3-40?

Now I do agree, them Florida boys seem to keep speed out of the ass though.

The difference is you may have one or two kids in Cali to run that 4.3-40. But you have several kids from Fla run that in their sleep. You have a handful of kids in La and Tx to run that.

My ratio is 1-100 Cali kids run a 4.3-40. 1-50 Tx/La kids run 4.3-40. 1-25 Fla kids run 4.3-40.

C'mon Beans ... Cali has like double the population of Florida. However, I see your argument.

However, ain't that many people in Florida running 4.3. Hell, ain't that many people period running 4.3.

Now, Florida might have more football boys running 4.4 to 4.6.

Don't know J. I don't think the population size has anything to do with how fast a kid runs. And i believe a lot of Fla kids run 4.2/4.3 40, but you never hear of them because of other reasons (getting caught up with drugs, etc...). And most of Cali kids aren't really use to true heat.

I think the black population percentage wise is higher in Florida hence the view that more Florida folks are fast. Once you get out of L.A. and San Fran/Oakland. Not many of us. In Florida, you find us in all kinds of places. Even in the country towns. LOL.

J, those are just the ones that were timed at the NFL combine. There are more in Fla that don't get timed that are fast too. Maybe not that 4.2 fast, but definitely 4.3/4.4 fast.
 
Where is ole Kenn Rashad/Sugar Foot/SoGgy at? He can tell us all about that Cali heat vs La/Tx heat and how fast those Cali kids are.
