Defense wins championships...where are yours??
The problem with your defense is that it wins games, not championships. That is why you can only beat teams when they are down. The only exception is your emotional game against AlaState. You will never beat teams who can pass and have good receivers on a consistant basis because your defense is coonish. One day, you will see this. Your problem is your DC.

BTW, Dorman really tried to run out of bounds and just let those final nine seconds tick away....he really did. But, I guess he figured "these batches ain't had no defense ALL DAY. Why should I not score? ALL of my teammates have."

Basically, you guys will win the SWAC when every team in the SWAC has a poor passing game and a poor defense. Until then, you don't stand a chance especially with your DC and recruits.

TP, the NCAA don't look at whether or not you have won a championship to rate your defense. I am of the opinion that they look at Stats and winning a championship is not a stat they consider.
We are a D2 average team, so what has that got to do with a down year. TP we learned that JSU did not give Hughes or Bell a full allotment of scholarships. Now that players can read you have to award scholarships not work aid or working at the local Shoney's to play football. We have learned that you hoodwinked players into attending JSU with a statement like you can be like Walter if you come with us. So you call up Hughes and apologize about his inability to recruit because he wasn't given the scholarships to recruit.
But I will recognized that you did respond. But if JSU is going to get back to where it use to be, your fans must support the school and learn some football.
