Question for LP & Robber

bornthrilla

Proud ***** of JSU
Remember this time last year when you two clowns were criticizing Small for keeping his recruiting commitments with his former employer? Remember how you both were accusing him of being a traitor and saying that he was only ensuring that Hampton would beat A&T for the third year ina row? Remember how I told you clowns that Small was only exhibiting some much welcomed class and integrity, and that it was a good message and to send out to his new players?

Well fast foward to this season's home finale when we beat that same Hampton team 38-28, clinching the MEAC championship in the process. In that game several of the new players Small eventually signed to A&T stepped up big and made sizable contributions. A&T would go on the finish 10-3 on the season and Small would later be named MEAC coach of the year.

Now looking back, please tell me......

Don't you guys feel stupid? (again)

Lemme tell you something, son. It was stupid last year when Smalls did it, and if another coach leaves a school to take a position for another school, yet still recruits for his old school and NOT his new school, I'ma call it stupid again.

Second of all, 2003 recruiting has no affect on the 2003 season. What y'all had were players that Hayes had on campus. You to silly to know this, though. Wait another year or two and you'll see what effect that Smalls recruiting for Hampton on A&T's dime had on A&T.

Thirdly, I never made one damn prediction on how A&T was gonna do. I said Smalls was wrong to continue recruiting for Hampton when A&T was paying him to be coach. Never said that y'alll would lose to Hampton. But I'm betting that in 2 years Hampton will be better off than A&T because Smalls did such a wonderful job recruiting for Hampton.

It was stupid then and it's still stupid now. Just because y'all beat Hampton and won the MEAC won't change that. But the effects of neglecting A&T recruiting for Hampton recruiting are yet to come. Time will tell.

Moron. :smh:

Second of all, 2003 recruiting has no affect on the 2003 season.

Speak for yourself. Several of the players Small brought in before the season made major contributions in our title run. So, on the contrary, his 2003 recruiting helped get us a 2003 championship.

BTW: What you fail to realize is that Small did not nelgect A&t in favor of Hampton. He was able to complete his recruiting commitments for Hampton.....AND...assemble a quailty class at A&T that, like I say, has already paid dividends. In doing so, he proved to his new troops that you can have integrity and class and still be a winner. You don't have to engage in c**n shenanigans like Bell and your adiminstration at JSu has developed a penchant for.

Anyone who follows MEAC football knows that A&T is in just as good of shape or better than Hampton as a football program. We have depth at all key positions and a plehtora of good players waiting to be the next star.

PS. I need your new phone number. I haven't had a chance to hollar to you in a while.

We'll see how good his recruiting class was in a couple of years. I don't wish bad on you. Frankly, I couldn't care less about A&T. But my coach better not be recruiting for a conference rival. I don't care what his name is or how much class he's trying to show players.

Check your pm.

Thrilla,

In two years, you will be calling for Smalls head....and I don't think I ever mentioned the recruiting thing. I just told you that he is a loser that can't recruit and will be fired in three years. He is doing the same thing he did at Kentucky State...win with someone elses players....

Thrilla, if that makes you feel better to tell yourself that go right ahead. If that is true, the MEAC should be ashamed. No wonder SU ran through you and a 2-10 JSU gave you all you could handle.

Also, dude we don't care about A&T so why do you keep bothering us. Go home!!!!!!!!!!!! www.meacfans.com They care about you over there.

LP, it took you less than two posts to divorce yourself from all rationale and logic. At first it looked like you were going to make some point about Small winning with Hayes' players, but then when that got you nowhere you just said "So?" and told me to go away. LOL!.

I tell ya LP, you sure have a different outlook on this whole debating thing. Next time, try not to make stupid statements from the start. Then, things won't come back to haunt you which you have no good answer for.

But I'm betting that in 2 years Hampton will be better off than A&T because Smalls did such a wonderful job recruiting for Hampton.

First you say he can do a wonderful job recruiting, then you say he can't recruit....

So which is it??

Idiots.

I am sure that Robber is being sarcastic. We could care less about Hampton over here. I am willing to bet that Robber has not even seen a Hampton recruiting class list.

Spin, spin, spin.

The man said that Hampton will be better off due to Small's recruiting before he left. Where is the sarcasm? You don't have to backpeddle for your boy. He can speak for himself.

This is so Stupid, Assinine and Dumb.

Brandmaster, these clowns can't even beg a decent O-linemen to coem to their school. Small recruited for two schools and still attracted better talent than Bell did.

BTW: After Culberson taps Bell on the shoulder after the end of this season and asks him to step in his office, this argument will be moot.

Dude I really hope you aren't really this simple. Check this out. I'ma violate smack rule #1. There's a word in the dictionary called "sarcasm". Look it up.

Secondly, why the hell are you using quotes from 2 separate posters to show a contradiction??? I ain't TP. His opinion is his. My opinion is mine. TP has said Smalls can't recruit. I have never expressed an opinion on Smalls' recruiting ability.
This is so, how do you say it??? Stupid, Assinine and Dumb. (Thanks Brandmasta) (Thanks mighty hornet)

I forgot you are a band dude. Shouldn't expect you to know much about what's happening in and around football.

Thrilla, in the last two years, Bell has recruited 5 o-linemen. He may have failed thus far to land any transfers but September 4th is months away. As you can see, we are not only playing for right now but we are also building for the future.

Ben Davis OL 6-2, 265, Clinton HS ? Second-team All-Metro selection. Started at tackle as a junior and guard as senior. Drew interest from Southern Miss. "I think his potential as a college player is outstanding," Clinton coach Pete Hurt said.

William Davis OL 6-3, 290, Corinth HS ? Member of The Clarion-Ledger Top 40. Mississippi State and Memphis also showed interest. Played tackle as freshman and sophomore before moving to center. "His footwork is real good," Corinth defensive line coach Frederick Taylor said. "For a guy his size, he moves real well."

Andrew Smith OL, 6-2, 280, Hattiesburg HS ? Three-year starter. "He's a very good athlete, and a great kid," Hattiesburg assistant coach Mike Stapleton said. "He's got good speed, he can pull . . . he's the whole package."

(Redshirt Freshman )Lorenzo Breland OL, 6-1, 310, Picayune HS ? Chosen to play in the Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Classic. District offensive MVP. Two-year starter. "I don't think there is a better offensive lineman in the state," Picayune coach Dodd Lee said.

(Redshirt Freshman but might play on the D-line) James Theodore II OL, 6-1, 280, Hattiesburg HS ? All-district pick. Three-year starter at guard, also played some at center. "He's the hardest working kid I've ever coached," Hattiesburg offensive line coach Eddie McCoy said. "He's an outstanding run blocker."

...and yes, I said Small cannot recruit and I base this on the fact that he won at KSU with someone elses talent before running the program into the ground. He is doing the same at A&T.

It's March 5, 2004. Do you know where your O-linemen recruits are?

 Why are you so worried about them? You don't see us JSU'ers concentrating on the recruitment status of your program! :smh: Why? It's because we could care less....we don't give a damn! :emlaugh:

I know you're extremely worried about our program Thrilla, but I didn't know your entire life depended on it!

Coldsweat, re-read the title of this thread and then try to remember that I no longer acknowledge the existance of NSM members.

LP, you know as well as I do that the O-linemen you currently have on board can not get the job done. That is why it was so important for you to fill that void with transfers and JUCos this offseason. The clock is about to strike midnight.

Small took a 4-8 team that had serious morale and discipline problems, added a few of his own recruits and transfers, and transformed A&T into a 10-3 conference champion. He followed that up by recruiting one of the best overall classes we've had in the past decade. If that's what you call running a program into the ground then he can go right on ahead. I much prefer it to whatever "building effort" James Bell is currently doing at your school.

Bornthrilla, one of the major problems with our o-line is that they were being asked to do things that they did not know how to do...like run block. They got better as the year progressed but injuries took over the rest of the team. I would still say that they are not any better than an average group that needs to improve. That still does not negate that Bell is laying a solid foundation in that area.

We return all five starters along the offensive line and 8 of the young men that were on the 2003 roster were listed as Freshmen or Sophomores.

as far as that 10-3 team.....just be happy you all don't play in the SWAC. 10-7 against a 2-10 team.....

One of the major problems of your O-line is that they all suck. Every last one of them. They could not run block or pass block. I remember in the A&t game that they couldn't pick up the third down blitz to save their lives. I remember it took about half an hour for your guard to pull out on a sweep.

Bell is not a chemist like you. He can not turn sh*t into sugar. His best bet was to attract some decent O-linemen this offseason and hope that JUCO running back lives up to the hype. He also could have cut his losses and hired a real OC who actually knew how to gameplan and design a playbook.

Bell chose to stand pat and ultimately it will cost him his job after this season.

And it still took a missed field goal for yall to win in overtime! :smh: So what does that say about A&T? :emlaugh:
Still :lmao: that yall couldn't even score an offensive TD in regulation, but you still wanna talk shiznit!

 And how do you know he hasn't yet? :retard: Why do you continually try to keep your nose in our business? Everyone in the MAFIA has told you not to worry about our squad but here you are trying to analyze our team & coach! :goof:

 I wonder why you don't show this much admiration for all the other SWAC teams! How come you don't analyze them? Why are you worrying about our o-line and recurits? What is it about J-State that has you so infatuated with us? :emlaugh:

I would like to comment....but you no longer exist to me. Can you please foward your statements to LP or Robber and have them repost it for you.
