I know RIM had a problem with their servers a week or two ago and that caused some major issues for blackberry users, no matter their service provider.
Okay, could yall answer a question for me, I want to get me a Black Berry, so do I have to pay for the internet on it? I am a Verizon customer. I am tired of this flipp phone, but I am cheap. Do you pay to look at stuff on line or is that part of the email data plan? Help me out.

The only companies to get service after Katrina in South MS were Cellular South and the Nextel (the chirp worked)..
I had no problems with Sprint.
Sprint was hit or miss.. Verizon, Tmobile were non-existant post hurricane..
Having a smartphone with no data plan is like having a car with no wheels lol.. just doesnt make sense to me.
thats false.... Verizon took mobile portable cell towers to Mississippi and Louisiana AND gave out free phones during Hurricane Katrina.... several newspaper articles about it.... google Verizon Wireless and Hurricane Katrina.
