My mom called and told me and I pulled it up this morning and nonbody posted it so I wanted to know what the real deal was..... I asked a question to someone else and not you HELLO!!!!!! Did you get a Pm or post asking for Storm 96 to reply NO........ Obviously I am capable of having a serious discusssion I have a job but that probably don't matter to you though...................You need to move the FUGG around..... Thank you...he slapped that post down with pride like it was a trump card...and never really asked for any clarification.

As for asking who met the deadlines...I can tell you from experience meeting the deadlines alot of times doesn't mean SHAT. Like I said before you'd probably have to go though it to understand what the students are facing. Most are not stupid enough to go protest when the didn't meet the deadline.

There is more to the protest than what is being reported as well. The video they ran, in actuality, didn't have as much to do with financial aid as it did another issue that is sensitive to a certain group on campus, of which the young man in the video is a member.

Are you and Hornetswarm related? Do you get off at the misfortune of others? If you have a source, then use it. This isn't the place for me to be airing out every happening at PV to try to justify my stance that everything isn't what it seems.

As I said at first, there is more to the clip you saw than financial aid. As a matter of fact, I'm willing to stretch and say that the whole diatribe you saw from that young man in the video had nothing to do with financial aid at all.

Like I said, if you have a source, then you may as well use it. Right now, the only ignorant person I see is sporting a *rambling avatar.

And as off topic as it is, I don't know HOW ANYONE from *rambling can call a band uniform ugly after that atrocity of a uniform they trotted out at last year's Bayou Classic.

I am an ALUMNI of Prairie View, and we busted your band's arse enough times during my tenure ALONE to compensate for anything you THINK you may have done this weekend (by the way, I wasn't in attendance....I have to teach kids the correct way to play an instrument so that they don't end up sounding like that train wreck in N. Loo-weezy).

Like I say, let's see how long it takes you to dig up. Since you are so 'concerned' with the happenings at PV.

Its significant to note that you cannot compare PV's situation to that of *rambling. *rambling was on the verge of a state take over. They were poised to get the padlock. Mismanagement was rampant throughout several administrative departments. PV's situation deals with a new system being implemented . That transistion is what caused delays. You simply cannot compare a University upgrading its system to administrators stealing money to go to the Bayou Classic...or *rambling's practice of hiring faux-professors.

With graduates like gramutildeath its no wonder why their university is in the condition its in. Oh but they shole can play 'dat football.... :rolleyes:

I wasn't comparing the situations. I just hate people that try to justify 'calling out' another university that is being portrayed in a negative light 'because others have done/would do the same if the shoe was on the other foot'. That is COONISH. And it's even worse that they are spreading the half of the story they got like it's the gospel.

It sickened me to see *ram's situation distorted on here, just as this crap being displayed now sickens me. How in the HELL can you attempt to classify this as a serious discussion when, with only half of a story, you call a legitimate protest 'ghetto'? Try again buddy. You come correct, and you get correct information.

This is beyond sad. This isn't the smack board and the students are facing a serious issue and ANOTHER issue that I understand their passion. To sit and try to belittle the school and students in this case is just a :shame:

Nothing like true love. :tup: Gotta' love it. I had to endure the exact same type situation when the CompSci dept was <b>given</b> on a silver platter to the engineering tech dept. :retard: During my last year of course.

I really understand what the students were protesting. Gotta' give props to a stolid media-machine that continues to distort and misinform. :tup: Way to go KHOU! :tup: Dummies. :emlaugh:

So thats why we were in the engineering tech building (which I prefered over the engineering building anway).
 
Why does it seem like every black university sends the most incompetent and clueless person to address students about their financial aid concerns? That lady looked like she didn't know what the hell was going on. Why would a university put a new system in place when no one is competent enough to operate it?
 
The lady in the video is not on the Financial Aid staff, and was not listening to a financial aid complaint. That's the part that we are trying to get ya school-mate to understand. The financial aid was a spearate deal altogether. But the protests somehow ended up linked. There are 2 separate stories working out there.

But, I'm sure you'd agree w/ me that if were students there now, we'd prefer to be in the NEW engineering bldg, correcto? :)

I respect loyalty to an extent. But sometimes, you gotta' let that isht go. :(
