If the SWAC commish office rules that, then it is acceptable.

Wishful desires of alums doesn't matter, obviously. The next 2 weeks was a period where too many would have learned a LOT about our team.

Hopefully we will rebound and become even stronger/healed, while the ncaa also clears a few more for us during the down time.

I'm happy for the open date. 6 games back to back with injuries mounting was going to be tough.
 
The AAMU vs MVSU makeup game should be rescheduled to this week now since both of our originally scheduled opponents are not available (PVAMU for AAMU & Alcorn for Valley).

Move the makeup AAMU/PVAMU game to April 3rd. Problem solved!

If anymore cancelations occur to A&M we have no more dates to make up.
 
We knew this was bound to happen to a team at some point this spring season......Just as in basketball this season.

My hope is that all schools are able to get all athletes and support staff (all sports) that have a desire to take the vaccine....get them vaccinated.

Band members as well....

I would love for us to play AAMU Sunday to get the taste of that embarassment out our mouth. I dont want us sitting around 3 weeks until the UAPB game and look rusty again on national TV.

If we cant do it this weekend, do it next weekend with a full week of practices. Valley has that 3 week window to play with plus that April 24 date. AAMU really only has that April 24 date if they move up to this weekend

Edit: Appears that if AAMU doesnt play us this weekend, their margin of error for COVID postponements is gone. I actually have faith in the AAMU admin to see it's in their best interests to play Saturday or Sunday. Valley.........................

(CNN)With Covid-19 vaccination production and distribution ramping up in the United States, more states are expanding who is eligible to be inoculated. On Tuesday, Mississippi is following Alaska's lead and becoming the second state to open vaccination appointments to all residents 16 years and older, Gov. Tate Reeves said Monday.

"Starting tomorrow, ALL new appointments will be open to ALL Mississippians. Get your shot friends - and let's get back to normal!" he tweeted Monday.
