Tell me...how are they going to get a biopsy from your prostate. Will they cut the wall of the large intestine to get to the prostate or will they stick a probe in your penis.

No,they go in through the anus with an ultrasound probe with a needle on it.I would be lying on my left side under some sort of sedation while this is going on.I've got to wait until my colonoscopy is done.It's time for that again.:fart:

Hey guys,
I just found out that my PSA is 1.14 and the normal range for my age group from 0 to 3.1.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!
They will still do the biopsy,however.:lmao::winkgrin::banana::happydance::clap::jump::kiss: :wavey:

PSA stands for prostate-specific antigen.When this number is elevated,it usually means the presence of cancer cells.:read:

Because the doctor felt some abnormal lumps in my prostate when he did the digital exam.The PSA will confirm whether there are cancer cells present or not.:happydance:Every lump does not mean cancer but it's best to know than not know.

I had a PSA done in March. My score was a 2.1... Normal, but elevated... Prostate cancer runs in my family and I'm already showing symptoms of BPH (enlarged prostate).
Good news for you, though....
