Toronto-born receiver Mike Jones shows up where he’s supposed to be and performs – no excuses.

After being put through the ringer at the CFL Combine from March 11-13, Jones boarded a Sunday night flight to Louisiana for his Southern University Pro Day on Monday, March 14. 32 NFL teams and one CFL team watched Jones go through all the standard football testing events on Southern’s campus in Baton Rouge, less than 18 hours after he finished one-on-ones at the University of Toronto’s Varsity Stadium.

We keep hiring sorry ass coaches, acting like it's a sin to pay more than 200k for quality.

the main reason we got rid of our DC...he didn't know what he was doing with Lanier the whole 2 years he was DC for us...

NFL scouts don't care though lol they always find the talent in the SWAC sorry coaches or not ...they will polish a clear rock of talent until it turns into a diamond lol

U don't need coaches to make it on any level.

Reggie Johnson got fired because he didn't know what to do with the whole defense lol.

Anthony Lanier would have had 20 sacks on 1 leg under Towns. Towns was a MASTER teacher and got sugar out of shit and gold out of salt with his players. Corey Hart had 19 fuggin sacks in 2011(?). But we got Lanier lined up in the A and B gaps. Fugg outta here. That's why he's fetching WATER at Western Kentucky.

Come out to one of these scrimmages. Its like night and day.

Yes, and no...

You need a coach to teach you the technique to help you get to the next level, but if your coach doesn't play to your strengths, the NFL scouts will know it and be able to grade you based on your technique, size & athleticism

I will put it like this if Pearson had Lanier for 2 years he would've been put in schemes to showcase his talent no doubt...

True!! But I look at the situation between Richard Sherman and Jim Harbaugh at Stanford. Jim didn't sale Richard to scouts like he should. Instead Jim told scouts what Richard couldn't do, that's why Richard dropped in the the draft to 4 Round because Jim told scouts about Richard defects. But look at Richard now his one of the best dbs in the nfl and every time Richard played Jim he stuck it to him. Now I say to myself can Jim Harbaugh really coach.
