They're basing it on style over substance. Romney was the aggressor. Obama handlers continue to play and portray the President as not a "angry black man". His supporters are and have been upset because he appears to never get angry.

Jag hit the nail on the head. Romney presented better last night than POTUS. He still has yet to deliever any specifics. POTUS didn't press him on it either. If he had he could have taken the fight to Romney and made up for his short comings last night.
 



The new/old Faux News resurrected 2007 Hampton University video of Obama speaking with Jeremiah Wright in the audience may have played a role in the debate last night. The President handlers go out of their way not to portray Obama as a angry black man.
 
November can't get here fast enough. Lets just vote and be done with it. Both of them just rehashed the same shat they been saying for the last 6 months.
 
Regardless of who you think won the debate, there were at least a three times where Obama made me cringed. One is when he said Donald Trump is considered a small business. The other was when he never answered the question about whether he felt Romney and he had different views on education. I was thinking why was he avoiding that question. Finally, it urked me when he told the moderator to move on to the next question.

EXACTLY!!!! But I do wonder why he (Obama) didn't que him on his oversee jobs, the 47% incedent and so on unless he was waiting for them in the later on debates!
 
one debate does not make a campaign. Besides folks already KNOW who they are going to vote for regardless of what these two men say in the upcoming debates. If you've been on Team Obama for four years, nothing he says in the month will change your mind about voting for him. If you rolling with Romney, then his debate performance will not drastically change your position. This consternation is silly.
 
I do not think that Romney won the election last night but think that Obama could have closed the door on the Romney campaign. I wished that the president did more fact checking of Romney. A candidate should not just leave it up to the media, especially with the state of today's major/corporate media. I should note that I think that Obama gave a good speech today on what happened last night, and there is fact checking of what Romney said. I still would have preferred him to fact check more often last night.

The Romney campaign is on the ropes and is struggling. Backers of Romney have gotten frustrated with him. I think that he got some enthusiasm after last night. We will see how long it will last.

He was saying that Romney thinks this.

Seems as though he got frustrated when the Moderator kept interrupting him saying that he(the moderator) had to cut him off so he could go to the next question. As if he was saying "Go the hell on to the next question then." BTW, that moderator did a piss poor job of moderating.

Feel free to look up both candidates "fact checks". Both of them were lying, yet telling the truth to some degree. It's what they (politicians) do....

People get talking about how did Romney win the debate if he said nothing but lies, and I say...if you don't challenge the person on the lies then....expect things not to go your way.

And who came up with the questions? They left alot of topics out. There are some supreme court seats that will be opening up with key issues coming to the court as well. None of those were touched.
