2.) Tennessee State (8-3, 87.5 points, PR = 2)
3.) Jackson State (7-2, 83.1 points, PR = 4)
4.) South Carolina State (7-3, 83.0 points, PR = 3)
5.) Alcorn State (8-3, 58.3 points, PR = NR)
6.) Alabama State (6-4, 54.6 points, PR = 5)
7.) Southern University (6-4, 49.0 points, PR = NR)

Other teams with at least 30 points: Prairie View (35.6)


(If the mods want to re-open the old thread to add this they can, but I am assuming it was closed due to being over 200 posts).

...and JRock, that was actually an unintentional post last night. I had some things to review before posting. Congrats to the JAGS for finally entering the prestigious PRECISION POLL. I missed what GR said but I am sure it was funny. :D Nothing I can do about the numbers tho.

We barely escaped tha #4 spot. I think if we had played Grambling, we might be at least #2.

But how can BCU stay #1 and they lost to a team not even ranked in your poll?

Honestly, i can't answer that. But they did beat TWO teams who are ranked in my poll. #2 and #4. I guess that still counts for something. :lecture: Great question tho. My poll is a point system and they did lose 15 points from last week for the loss. I keep telling you all that you CAN'T look at my poll like an opinion poll. My poll is nothing like a traditional poll. If I wanted something like that, I wouldn't waste my time every week.

And Norfolk is 3-7!!! 3-7 man, that right there should drop bcu 2 places. Remember when OSU lost on Thanksgiving weekend a few years back. They went from #2 to out of the top 10.

LOL.. Man, when I was like halfway thru the numbers about this time yesterday, I saw BCU was waaaaaaaaaaay ahead. I knew would not catch them.. but I thought we might get ahead of TNState.

One thing you all are missing is that the PRECISION POLL has made the Jafus poll better. :lol: That was a part of my motiviation to start a poll.

AGAIN.. they didn't move up.. they moved down..SU and Alcorn moved up. PV & A&T moved down. BCU lost points while JSU, TNState and SCState won and all gained points. Nah!
