Tigah-pantha: texas southern sympathizers who physically graduated from PVAMU, unfortunately. They're lovers, so to speak. :lol:Wait, what you say Panth?
It's the truth.......he was part-time. That's why a lot of us PVers were starting to get frustrated because it was going on for too long. We appreciate Fred for stepping in and taking over the duties when he did, but it was going on for too damn long. Now is the time for us to get a full time person in there and take this department to the next level. Our programs have maintained well during this stretch, but we haven't accelerated. Now is the time to push forward.

What the story behind this one PV?
Tuskegee's AD is gone, so that's two AD's needed. Maybe, there's been some contact between PV/Skegee. Hum!! Interesting.
+1Fred Washington did well in his time considering the circumstances he stepped into. Hopefully, the university hires a quality AD to continue to move Prairie View A&M University Panther athletics into the future. Ultimately, over the course of the last 5 years I would venture to say that PV > TSU since McClelland made the move to TSU and took many of PV's athletic department employess.
This move will be the biggest hire in PV athletic history - bar none.
I hope they don't want the man from Tuskegee. He was our AD for two weeks.
hardly :emlaugh:
So is it safe to say that my boyfriend's job is safe for another year since you guys have your hands full seeking an AD...His none coaching azz did get ya'll to the SWAC Championship game this year and he want his bonus so he can buy me something nice:lmao:
people predicted doom and gloom when Charles left and Fred stepped in due to obvious reasons in terms of experience and the quick departure of some coaches and staff. However, PV slowly emerged across the board once things got stable as the replacements have surpassed the ones that left.
This move will be the biggest hire in PV athletic history - bar none as the program is now consistent and is at the step where its about tweaking and building for future generations.
