Prairie View Athletic Director Steps Down

I don't know what's going on w/ the tax funds down there. And PV's was only slightly above 17(?)% I think so we too need to tighten up.

It's there game bruh. Let them have at it. As long as SU ain't trying to have any home games over there. I assume that PV thought they would get some N LA exposure for recruiting purposes or something. Who knows. It is better than going to HS stadium after HS stadium every other year in Texas.

Ya'll only played us once in a high school stadium in Houston. Our last 2 games have been in Shreveport and the one before that was in Reliant.

It's the truth.......he was part-time. That's why a lot of us PVers were starting to get frustrated because it was going on for too long. We appreciate Fred for stepping in and taking over the duties when he did, but it was going on for too damn long. Now is the time for us to get a full time person in there and take this department to the next level. Our programs have maintained well during this stretch, but we haven't accelerated. Now is the time to push forward.

So you call maintaining - 1 SWAC FB Championship, 3 Womens BB SWAC/Tournament Appearances (4 out of last 5), SWAC Baseball Championship, Nationally Rank Bowling Team, No APR Issues, PV Moral Better, First time ever I saw Southern, Gram, and TSU have shirts that say BEAT PV. Improvement in Dome Facilities, Movement towards a football stadium. I am sure I am leaving out some stuff but I know If you said 5 years ago what would the next 5 years look like and you put up that record, you would say that is more than just maintaining. Could more have been done ... Sure. We have had a good run the last fiver years.

They should confine the search to about 65 miles.

Man, yall damn well know that we dont want anything from sTu, but on the flip side, that campus is full of former PV employees (and I aint just talking about coaches). Sure, you can offer a few more ducketts, but in the end, was has it gotten you? Some higher paid employees who wear the sTu hats, but their hearts are still on 290. And they haven't given you that extra push to get over the top like they did with the Purple and Gold.

You're right. I prayed that sTu would get its 4-year graduation rate to > 5% and it's still unanswered.

:retard: This is not fiction ^^^^^^^, this is factoid 2013 (2008-2012 #s).

"Thank you P88"
"You're welcome"

Alright Panthro, DCG gonna jump on you.....oh wait you might like that

DCG better jump on The Texas Tribune for eagerly publishing those mind-boggling #s. I'm just a carrier of the message. I didn't create and publish it in the media.

in defense...only 2 of them came directly from TSU as one was let go when Bill was fired (he was the glue guy) and the other was Al-Ameen.

Thanking TSU for being a part of the 4 percent and thanks to all of the other4 percenters for supporting me over the years. Planning something for all of you late April early May.

It's pay day.

he said non-coaches and he meant PV has not paid anyone $1 more to come straight to TSU.

C-Leb, I see that you missed the point of my FULL post, and you wanted to focus literally on the first line. Thus, citing the resumes of COACHES that even remotely passed through sTu at some point in time in their life. That is not what I meant, but i will not get into a back and forth about it. Its ok. Keep up the great research.

Huh? Missed the point? All I can go by is what you wrote correct? What you wrote was:

Now what's the definition of "anything"? So are you saying "anything excluding" the eight former employees/graduates listed above? Furthermore, that wasn't research. I knew them from off the top of my head, now I could do some research from over into the academic side and increase those numbers but what would that accomplish? My point has already been made with what I recall from off the top of my head.

 Whatever Bro, You just don't want to call a successful tenure for what it was. That is ok! I understand your true motives is to be the Rush of TSPN.

Solid proof that you cannot fix athletically naive ppl ^^^^^^. Typical tigah-pantha. And I'm not a "bro," PV graduate.

To the athletically intelligent, I'm thankful I'm not a part of the selection committee. This is a very intricate period for PV's future direction w/ regards to athletics.
