Prairie View A&M vs Rice: Game Updates - 6:00pm CT

Good game PV we as a conference have to learn how to close in games like this!!!!! Again great way to represent the conference PV!!!!!!!!!!!

When the clock ran down to 1 second, they stopped the clock. The clock should have run out, marking the end of regulation and sending the game into overtime. They have an excellent kicker and stopped the clock at 1 second so he could kick the field goal. To make a long story short, they cheated!

If his success continues, I guess TSU will be acquiring Coach Dooley at the end of Haywoods contract.

Sometimes it’s not about winning the “battle”, but surviving the “war”.

WOW! WOW! WOW! JOB WELL DONE PVAMU!

These opportunities don't happen often to FCS programs, and hardly ever happen for SWAC teams. We have to find a way to get over the hump. The Owls were on life support in the second half. PV had them. Rice isn't Texas or Oklahoma, but they are still a FBS program who was ready for picking. PV just didn't get it done.

I knew Dooley wasn't going in their for a paycheck. That's not him. He came to win. I know he is pissed. Anyway, PV will be battle tested by SWAC play. They have a tough schedule, but they will be dangerous.

And where is that Tx Finest cat at? I told him that I wasn't the average outsider. I knew Jalen would most likely take the snaps. That kid was unleasing his arm in the second quarter. Man, them turnovers hurt PV.

Looking forward to seeing this NCCU game. In my eyes, this game will tell us who PV is this year. Good luck to my Dog Dooley and the Panthers.

That game will be interesting, Rice lucked up at the end

Basebone, I understand, I really do. I hope you don’t think I’m one of those “No one asked me to dance, but I was happy just to be invited to the ball” types. Nothing would have pleased me more than to see our SWAC Division brothers beat Rice AND go home with THEIR money! And yes, since “money” games may become scarce in the future, these opportunities may not be available to us. But you’ll have to remember, I am a woman and I tend to (naturally) see things from a feminine point-of-view. I know this is football, and teams/coaches have to stay sharp and take advantage of EVERY opportunity available. But effort matters and PV didn’t give up! And as far as I know, no players were injured. I’m very (Godly) proud of PV; to me, they did an amazing job, considering this was their first game.

I'm right here. He started because our other QB wasn't available for this game.
