I seriously hate how brutally honest I am w/ self. I semi-wanted to make the short drive to that disposable trash city. The last visit to that dump san antonio left a very bad taste in my mouth as iwu unmercifully toyed w/ sPVm led by coach Dooley. Also, I waited until Thurs to hear if those sTu alums needed the tractor to pull a float so they allegedly went w/ duay truck dude rather than the Mahindra. No problemo. :)
 






iwu started playing ball in 2009.

hcu/hbu was in 2013.

PV has been at this since 1920.

PV is far, far behind the new upstarts w/ respect to recruiting and coaching.

When my godsister's son comes in w/ txa&m-commerce and busts PV's assed on HC'ing, I will be there for it front center.
 
IWU has been in the playoffs and won games.

They are listed as second to win the conference.

27 players are from other schools including Colorado, Michigan State, Iowa State and Grambling.

9 Seniors. The majority of the team is from last year.

If PV underestimated this school that is on them.

Cuz, we got some evil spirits about your second school. :( We need to get rid of these people.

I know people rank on coach Dooley's coaching and hardheaded nature but, that man brought in the best talent PV has ever had. He had to figure out the HC'ing deal on the fly but still, I think we should have developed a plan of accountability and reporting to assist him but that would require an actual athletic director w/ a brain and common sense, of which, we NEVER had one outside of Ashley Robinson.
 
if they had major cash they would've had elite basketball programs which is the benchmark for a private school - they pretty much suck at basketball

they've done well with coaches for football after the initial staff left - similar to how PV hit on Simmons and Dooley in terms of guys who recruited at a high level consistently - the difference is they can get that difference maker white and hispanic kid and convince a good black kid to come down even though their facilities are average

Yep. We saw Simmons, Dooley, and even Northern recruit that type talent.

This current lot? No bueno. iwu, hcu, sfa, and obviously shsu outrecruit us by a large margin.
