Can anyone tell me who invented pop-ups? I'm trying to research if I can find something criminal about pop-ups. I want the inventor prosecuted, locked up, and the keys and all rights to pop-upping thrown away. :mad: :mad:


Don't say just install a pop-up killer. I did that and it freezes up my computer.:redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :redhot: :mad:

The guy that invented the pop-up also invented the pop-up killer. lol Just like Cincy Microwave invented radar guns for cops and then sold radar detectors to the genr'l public.

It's the American way. lol

Seriously, I don't know who is credited for the "action." The "action" has been around for well over 15 years (when I first started getting involved w/ 'real' corporate-like technology). But, if I had to guess, there's 2 schools on the east and west coast that were partnered w/ R&D functions who created a lot of that stuff.

Incoherent ramblings from a geek up there ^^^^^^^^^. :smh:
