Poor TJACK

Re: Poor TJACK....

Why do we keep making excuses for TJACK.... Is it because he is from a SWAC school? If he was from a flagship state school even the Bama State folks would be drilling him right now.
Because I want him to do well. All I saw last night was him play a couple of series in the first preseason game. If he had thrown 2 TDs would yall be ready to proclaim him as the next great NFL QB? Nope.
The same way I won't write him off for that lil brief glimpse we saw.
He threw 5 passes!!!!!!!!!! Constantly under pressure. Having to run for his life. Getting sacked. Those are not excuses. Those things happened.

Re: Poor TJACK....

Jackson had just five practices with the Seahawks before his preseason debut with starting receivers Sidney Rice and Mike Williams sitting out.

Jackson coolly completed a third-down pass over the middle to Doug Baldwin on the Seahawks' third play but later was called for intentional grounding while eluding the Chargers' rush. Jackson alertly scrambled for a first down when every Seattle receiver was covered on the next drive, but he was sacked on consecutive plays moments later -- again with every target well covered.

"I thought the quarterbacks did just fine," Seattle coach Pete Carroll said. "We didn't get open a couple of times for Tarvaris early on. He had to move around. He showed us some great stuff. I thought nothing but good things about the quarterbacks all the way through."

It wasnt just the game last night, dude hasnt been good even in the games he started in Minnesota lol. It is what it is. And of course the coach is going to say he did fine. Showed us some great stuff... media talk.

Re: Poor TJACK....

I want EVERY SWAC player that goes in the league to do well. I think TJack's chance to become a better player was looked over when Brett Farve came back. Since he was not getting reps in games he skills dried up a bit. TJack really needs to work harder....if not I really see him getting cut.

Re: Poor TJACK....

A few starters didn't look good last night. Look at Kolb and Orton's performances. They both struggled. Didn't check Romo's stats.

Tebow looked good, though.

I was flipping back and forth between the Seahawks/Chargers and the Broncos/Cowboys. TTebow got banged up pretty good, but he kept on going. He did look pretty good. He was actually doing good when Coach Fox put in Brady Quinn! I last saw that bad snap by the Cowboys in their FG attempt which left the score 16-16. Every pass Romo threw was a completion but I don't remember seeing him throw much. That Harris kid had some nice run yardage and after he scored, I quit watching.

When did Orton EVER look good? And Kolb is better than TJACK is and I dont think anyone with sense is going to argue that.

Kolb hasn't proven much on the field either. He's 3-4 as a starter and he was playing with GOOD Eagles teams. Plus, he had his #1 target, the 2nd best receiver in the league, playing last night, unlike T-Jack who didn't even have his starters.

Good observation!

Re: Poor TJACK....

You know what.... Haters are gonna hate. That's what they do. Ballers are gonna ball. He's ballin'. They're hatin'. So what else is new.

Re: Poor TJACK....

ill take TJack and Tebow over Kolb. I dont see what the fascination is with him

You know, looking for the next white over hype! 63 million for five games, do you think a black QB would have gotten that? If you do, then I have the White House to sell you. I am just saying, have a real body of work first, then hype Kolb. While they slam every mistake that TJack and Tebow make.

The typical black folks out.. when they cant think of anything else to say call it hate.

Re: Poor TJACK....

And this is why you watch the games and not coach them.

Kolb is your choice. Tell me one black qb that would have gotten the contract that Kolb got for playing well in 5 games, and he was 2-3 in those games. We focus on TJack struggles, but don'tl want anyone to mention Kolb struggled also, along with Romo and Orton.

TJack development would have been alot better if he had someone to coach him other than Childress and watch Farve do things that most coaches tell you not to do.

Re: Poor TJACK....

TJack really looked bad the other night. He was under a lot of stress but he didnt handle it like a professional would. He looked like a rookie when he dropped back. Hopefully he will get use to the offense and have a good season. Whitehurst got more reps and looked better but lets see what happens going forward.

How about this. I recognize when the facts are being ignored in an argument and I could use them but it won't matter. If you're married you know what I'm talking about. But let's go through that exercise so I can in you're eyes be an atypical "black".

hey, tjack led a team to a division title and the playsoffs all while playing for one of the worst coaches in the nfl!
hey, as a starter, tjack has a better record than Kolb, but I bet your a lot higher on Kolb than tjack!
tjack worked out at the univ of minn during the off-season/lock-out and all reports were that he looked sharp.

now do with that what you will. I believe I already know what you're going to say, evidenced by my original statement, but I promise I won't write it off as being just, "typical black folks hate." I'll regard it as a statement from an individual that can't be defined by his color.

TJack might as well stay in the league long enough to get a pension....then go back to Alabama and work at Wal-Mart.
