I'm gonna need an example of these actors/actresses?
what actor/actress acts in a regular TV show (ABC, CBS, NBC, WGN, CW, etc.; talking free, b/c the radio is free) and portrays a negative light comparable to the lyrics of Plies songs then we turn around and Praise b/c he/she pays a kid not to watch his show b/c he/she "cares"?
All the movies that are on TV now and you have to ask?
just to put you on track since you have not seen any Black actor or actress do anything except musicals so you can get the picture.
And forget that free TV stuff cause you can't even watch TV anymore for free.
I'll bet you can't even find a home that don't have some sort of basic cable so do use FREE as an excuse.
And besides, there are no BLACK PEOPLE, for the most part ON NETWORK TV.
The rest are looney, crappy white reality shows that people watch like they going to church and will not hold those white actors and actresses accountable for their images either.
You know the shows.
As for black movies and tv shows.
Let's start with Academy Award
Monsters Ball.
That shat is shown every month on some TV station.
Halle Berry as a crack headed hooker screwing racist prison guards.
Guess she don't care right cause if she did, she would not have taken that part?
Denzel Washington playing the worst cop in the world and also won an academy award for it.
That thing is shown weekly on TV for every kid in america to watch.
Guess he don't care how black men are portrayed either.
Those
Ghetto Howsewives.
They are great role models for little black girls RIGHT?
You can take the show I liked
THE SHEILD.
There were plenty of black people on that show that did everything from gang banging, to rape, to drug dealing.
Do they care?
I don't listen to 3/4 of the stuff rappers do but my point is rappers are the only
entertainers that are held to the letter of what the put on CD's.
Any other
entertainer,
actors and actresses, can show themselves as the worst thing on EARTH but people do hold them accountable for the images they put of for people to see.
That's all I'm saying.
