Missing SU student's family say ex-boyfriend involved

Family members of a Southern University cheerleader missing since Saturday said they believe her ex-boyfriend is involved in her disappearance.
Adrianna Flowers drove her mother's car from her home in Plaquemine into Baton Rouge a week ago in search of a job.
Her mother reported the 20-year-old missing Saturday.
Authorities said there's no reason to suspect foul play.
Relatives looking for Flowers found the car Tuesday morning in the Sharlo Terrace neighborhood, near the Tigerland residence of Flowers' former boyfriend.
Neither family members nor Iberville Parish sheriff's deputies would identify the ex-boyfriend.
"She said they weren't seeing each other anymore," Flowers' aunt Pat Minor said Tuesday night.
"He was real abusive toward her."
Minor and her husband, Pat, said Flowers was driving her mother's car instead of her own because her tires were slashed a month ago.
They said Sharlo Terrace residents also picked the former boyfriend out of a photographic lineup shown to them by investigators.
"They told the police that he got out of that car at 2 o'clock on Saturday," Pat Minor said.
"And Adrianna is real short, so she kept her seat way up. When they found it that car seat was way back."
Baton Rouge police examined the car but found no reason to suspect foul play, said Blair Favaron, chief of detectives for the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office.
Flowers' case remains that of a missing person, he said.
Cpl. Mary Ann Godawa, a spokeswoman for the Multi-Agency Homicide Task Force, said serial-killer investigators have exchanged information with Iberville Parish authorities, but said there's no reason to suspect a connection.
Flowers stands about 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a denim jacket.
