Please pray for my nephew

I'm asking that you all keep my nephew in your prayers. His name is Jordan Randall Walker. He was born on October 13, 2006. His twin brother is fine, but Jordan hasn't been home since birth. He's had numerous serious complications, problems with his intestines, lung and liver damage, and now tonight he was suffering from heart and kidney failure. I just got home from the hospital. They weren't sure he was going to make it through the night, and he's still in very critical condition. He needs all the prayers he can get, so please pray for him to make it through all this. He's been through so much for a 6 month old baby, and it's really taking a toll on our family. Thanks in advance for all of your prayers.

prayers up...i know this feeling my daughter didnt come home til she was almost a year old...many prayers up for the baby and the family

Praying for Jordan's total healing and that he's able to come home from the hospital soon and asking God to sustain his parents and extended family.

Thanks for the prayers everyone. It is with deep regret and sadness to say that Jordan passed away at 6:31am this morning at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was surrounded by family and friends. Jordan was a very strong child to have lasted this long considering all that he's been through. He was a fighter. He was born 6 weeks premature and had serious health problems from the start. He never got to go outside, never got to ride in his car seat, never got to play with his twin brother Jayden. Watching them revive him every time he flatlined was the most difficult thing I've ever had to watch. He's in heaven now watching over all of us. He will live on through his twin brother Jayden. The staff at the hospital was simply outstanding. One nurse who has worked there for 41 years says she's never seen nurses get so attached to a patient. Only about 3 of the 10 or more nurses that were there were officially on duty. The rest of those nurses came to the hospital on their own time, stayed there all night with Jordan, some living in excess of 40-50 miles away. There wasn't a dry eye to be found. Once again, I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Jordan. You will be missed.

Sorry to hear that TopDog. Big prayers to you and your family and that God will help you guys get through this as smooth as possible.

:bawling: Isn't it just awesome to think on how God showed us through Jordan that there still are caring nurses and doctors in hospitals and strong families in this world!!! We thank you God for Jordan and what you have shown us through this little baby. AMEN.

TD, I am really sorry and saddened to hear this about your nephew.
Prayers are up for you and your family in this your time of bereavement, TD!

R.I.P. Jordan......

Thanks for the prayers and condolences everyone. The funeral was on Tuesday and it was the toughest funeral I've ever been to. It was very emotional. I'm fortunate enough to still have both parents and all of my siblings, so this was the closest family member who's funeral I've attended. Losing a family member is always difficult, but losing a 6 month old baby who never really got a chance to live a normal life made it even harder to accept. All of your prayers and well wishes mean more to me than you'll ever know. Thanks for being there during this tough time.
