PHOENIX (Reuters) - Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies removed 12 distressed pit bulls from the Phoenix area home of rapper-turned-actor DMX in a raid that also found a number of firearms, police said on Friday.

Sheriffs' office spokesman Capt. Paul Chagolla said DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, 36, was not at home during the raid.

"We served an initial search warrant for animal neglect, and 12 pit bulls were removed," Chagolla told Reuters by telephone.

"There are weapons in the home, and we are in the process of obtaining an amended warrant," he added.

man, i saw it on CNN earlier today, and was like here we go, AGAIN. his attorney is saying that he has a caretaker, that obviously weren't caring for the dogs properly, which DMX was not aware of. i am waiting to see where this goes also.

BTW: The neighbors said that DMX went to New York on business and they have not seen him in months.
 
If you have a pets, you should take care of them. If you dont, the ASPCA will come after you. It has nothing to do with race, its about being responsible.

According to you guys, those black kids in Philly that set the pit bull of fire, they are only in trouble because they are black. :whatever:

DMX did.
he hired a caretaker to look after the house and dogs.
Look's like the caretaker was getting paid to party instead of doing what he was hired to do.
It only takes a couple of weeks for a neglected dog to get sick.
They say DMX has not been at that house in a couple of months.

Wildlife, Parks, and Fisheries, just rolled up on a house near
me. Someone reported that dude had 4 or 5 pit bulls
they told him to give up the pits or
go to jail.

He gave up the pits.

They told him it was illegal to have pit bulls
and illegal to have more than 4 dogs of any breed.

Are you actually reading what went on at that house according to what the POLICE have said or are you just trying to start something.:spin:

I know there are those on this board that want him to be guilty, but what do you suggest he do beside what he did when out of town.

This is after she was on probation for 2 earlier incidents, being warned by the judge for underage drinking, and driving with a suspened liscense. :saw:
She got 1 day in jail................That's it. :smoke:

Drunk driving on susp. liscense from 2 earlier incidents going the wrong way on the freeway, drugs.
She got a whopping 1hr and 30 min in jail before they let here go last week.

were afraid that one might get out.
& the hoverounds can't out pace the pits.

But who owns the planes and ships these drugs come over in? Who gives money to found these countries even though they know they are sending drugs to the black community?

I don't play the "white's bring it in game" on drugs.
These black mofo's got planes, car's, pickup trucks, 18 wheelers, boats, companies, and anything else you need to get it here that they own.

That mofo REDD in Jackson 5 years ago had his own 18 wheeler filled with coke.
Had a shootout with the police over it.
