Are you talking about science or are you talking about technology?Dr. Sweet NUPE said:I think that science has defeated one of the greatest surprises on earth....

Anyway, I don't see how it has defeated "one of the greatest surpries on earth" when you don't have to know if the baby is a boy or girl?
SONNY said:I hope yall parents aint buying these expensive @zz tennis shoes.
They are gonna grow out of them in 5 weeks tops.
But some of yall will learn the hard way.
CriTAUcal said:Seth has an aunt who buys him those expensive name-brand shoes and clothes. Seth had baby Jordans when he was a newborn through 3-months. Now he has Nikes and Pumas and Baby Gap clothes--- all from Aunt Crystal.
I ain't buying that type of stuff (at least not those shoes) when he's going to grow out of it in a matter of months. I have no problem with Wal-Mart/Target.
I put my son in whatever I want him in. It also doesn't hurt that he has aunts and godparents that buy him expensive shoes and clothes. He has the new Carmelo Anthonys. Last fall he had the Lebron James and Michael Vick sneakers.SONNY said:I hope yall parents aint buying these expensive @zz tennis shoes.
I don't see anything wrong w/shopping at those stores, for your kids, cd...but hey, to each his/her own. As long as you can afford those type of clothing, for your children, that's your business.cat daddy said:Better not buy my boys expensive stuff. But that money in the college fund. The kids grow out of the clothes so fast. Every time the weather changes my boys have to get allllllll new clothes.
We do not buy Wal-Mart clothes for them, but we are also not shopping at Macy's, Foley's or Dillards either.

Now, I don't agree w/purchasing expensive items for babies, b/c babies grow too fast and they won't get but maybe one wearing out of them. It's just a waste of money, to me.

But at that age, they dont know what they are wearing on their feet.
Payless fits just like NIKES.![]()
oh Sonny, don't get it twisted now...I'm a single Mother, on a budget, so trust me, when I say I shop at payless, walmart and any other so-called (cheap) store. I'm all about saving and pinching pennies, but I do splurge on my son, at times too. I shop a lot of sales at the Dillard's & Macy's type stores.SONNY said:Do what you do.

I mostly did nothing but breastfeed in Seth's first 3 months, and it saved a WHOLE LOT on spending money for formula.
We just bought a case (6 tall cans) of formula, and it was close to $200. :smh:
