Well, I agree with that sentiment for the most part, too.

But when you have a bunch of groups and individuals crowd funding and soliciting donations so kids (many of them from disadvantaged situations) to see the film, because many were under the impression that just the experiencing was NEEDED and you have the actors like Michael B. Jordan saying Black Panther gives black people power to promote it's unique value to black people that helped it gross $700 million -- it's going to have people desiring some type of reciprocation for the investment beyond just providing entertainment.
