Patriots interested in Albert Haynesworth


If we get Haynesworth for a fifth round pick that is a rap charge. It is also a low risk and hig reward for us. We only have to pay him 5mil. Thanks Redskins.

I don't see how this is going to work. Bill Belichick is not going to tolerate his crap nor is owner Robert Kraft.

What's really confusing is Fat Al said he didn't like the 3-4 defense and the Patriots run a 3-4 defense.

This makes no sense. I would sign him for the league minimum and see how it works out. At the first sign of foolishness, he would be gone.
 
The Pats run a number of different defensive sets and will not be as stubborn as Shanahan was regarding where they place Haynesworth on that line. One thing about Belichick is that he will make it work. Shanahan's pride was as much of the problem as Haynesworth was.
 
I think Al did not want to play Nose Tackle in the 3-4 defense. We got our NT already in Wilfork. We run just as much 4-3 as we do 3-4. AL will be alright and humble. It is a new start for him and we no how to deal with trouble players.
 
They got him for 5 mil. That's a steal. It will work out because Belichick won't be feuding publicly with him for one.
