Palin defends Alaska-Russia foreign policy remark

Palin's foreign policy experience came up when she gave her first major interview, on Sept. 11 to ABC News. Asked what insight she had gained from living so close to Russia, she said: "They're our next-door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."

The comment met with derision from Palin's critics and was turned into a punch line for a "Saturday Night Live" skit featuring actress Tina Fey. Appearing as Palin, she proclaimed, "I can see Russia from my house!"

In the interview with CBS News anchor Katie Couric, Palin said: "It's funny that a comment like that was, kind of made to ... I don't know, you know? Reporters ..."

Couric said, "Mock?"

"Yeah," Palin said, "mocked, I guess that's the word, yeah."

When Couric asked how Alaska's closeness to Russia enhanced her foreign policy experience, Palin said, "Well, it certainly does because our ... our next-door neighbors are foreign countries." Alaska shares a border with Canada.

Palin didn't answer directly when Couric inquired about whether she had been involved in any negotiations with the Russians.

"We have trade missions back and forth," she replied. As she continued, Palin brought up Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

"It's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where ? where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is ? from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to ... to our state," she said.

She gives wierd answers sometimes to questions. They need to prep her better. Biden has less exposing to do to her at the VP debate because she's creating doubt about herself everytime she opens her mouth. Excitement early, but now not the best VP choice.

There is nothing sad about this statement. God told us to keep an eye on Russia and don't trust them. Why? Russia and her allies are going to unite and make an effort to attack the US through Alaska. The Christian nations will have disarmed their weapons at this time and will not have a military force to protect our country. Who's going to stop this massive million man army of Russia and her allies? It will be God that will rain down 180lb hailstones to destroy Russia and her allies. God is going to stop them in the valley of Alaska. God states they will know it's Him because they will be cursing Him while they're dying. God and Christ are going to fight the last two battles on earth. Christ will be fighting the battle of Armageddon in Jerusalem and God is going to fight the battle of Gog and Magog in the valley of Alaska. These battles will happen at the same time.

What does this have to do with Sarah Palin and Russia? She understands Russia can't be trusted. Does she know what I know as far as biblical prophecy? I don't know what she knows but she's choosing her words very carefully because of the realistic threat Russia possess. I know God is on the throne and it will go down exactly as He said it would. We are in the last days and I can feel it. There is just one major thing that will happen before the last two battles are fought on earth. Pretty boy Satan and his angels haven't been kicked out heaven and down to earth to play Jesus and bring about a fake peace on earth. This is the major peace to the end times and we're almost there. I can feel it and Russia, China, and her allies are in for a treat from the heavens when God will crush them and their weapons in the valley of Alaska.

It's a bit much but I understand what's going on so I feel good. I pray God will open your eyes whereby you may see what others don't. If it's His will.

I thought for sure the USA had more than a million in its armed forces as well. Well at least before the Iraq war started.

That's Frederick Douglass's second wife and the 1st cousin of presidents John and John Q Adams. She's a mayflower daughter who worked herself to death for black people. She taught several years at the Hampton instutute for Negroes which is currently known as Hampton University. She's well known for getting white folks arrested for harrassing her students. The local white citizens were so upset they caused her nothing but pain which lead to her resignation due to an illness that almost killed her. The reason Frederick Douglass has a home in Washington DC as a National Hisoric site is because of this poor white woman who fought congress to make it so. She died in 1903and congress didn't make it happen until 1975.

I'm not crazy however I know what I know. I know what's going on and I sleep good at night. I don't have to read tomorrow's newspaper to know what will happen next. If you don't remember nothing I say then remember this. The US and the Christian nations are going to withdraw from the United Nations. When you see this happen then Satan and his boys will be on the way. Remember, the US is going to withdraw from the United Nations. This is the next major piece of prophecy that will happen next.
