Well the defense has "improved" ...its the offense that is crap. I think Sumlin is smoke and mirrors. he's an excellent recruiter when it comes to landing the flashy skill players but without the all-American/pro o-line that Sherman recruited, he's being exposed. He's probably safe since A&M has low standards when it comes to football.

Meanwhile, Texas gets shut out by Iowa State 24-0. Suddenly that OU win has been forgotten and Charlie's seat is hotter than ever.

Sumlin made it w/ Briles recruits and then Sherman's recruits @ uofh and atm-b/cs. I somewhat feel for Strong because he basically had to tear the entire raggedy foundation down and rebuild from scratch (anew). It takes a little bit of time to see success but they are improving.

I remember when Sumlin called the plays during R.C. Slocum's last season. The TAMU offense was very good that year. They lost a lot of game late mainly because of a lack of depth on defense.

The win over Oklahoma is really helping Strong especially after the loss to Iowa State.
