HBCUagent, Bama State doesn't play Texas Southern this year.
 
Time will tell. I like how this Hornet team is coming together. We have talented play makers. Consistent play needs to be improved. Oct will decide how successful the team will be in 2009.

If you recall, the Hornets were in every conference game last year. Finally with the self imposed penalties ending, the Hornets are on their way back, if not this year definitely next year. :clap::clap::clap:

I wouldn't count on that. Valley just played UAPB. UAPB had the best defense in the conference the last few years... and now Valley is about to face set-the-BARLOWs vaunted 34 defense.. :lol:
 
The East will come down to JSU and Alabama A&M again. Alabama State will NOT be a factor. Edward Waters, Concordia, and Savannah State :lol: Even Valley and Alcorn would be 3-0 with that schedule. What no Texas College? :noidea:
 
Ummm Bama State has beat 2 NAIA schools and a sub-par wanna be MEAC school.... Wow yea you guys are the best in the swac..

Bama State is going to Chicago to win the Valley game! One game at a time. The team has shown improvements from each game played. I don't have a problem with the scheduling. It has gotten the team ready for conference play. Losing the FAMU game hurts. Why get your head beat in to earn some money?

Savannah State just had their 1st winning season in 10 years last year.
They won 5 games and before that they had not won over 2 games a year including 3 str8 years they didn't win a single game.

Savannah State LOST TO EDWARD-WATERS LAW FIRM LAST YEAR MAN 26-21. :lol:
