That's the Sonic Boom I remember the most, straight lines and lots of energy!

Yep, Liddell has taken away a lot of that(energy and funk that is) Straight lines are another issue I'm sure. Even the marching in isn't as funky as it used to be. There's a poll that somebody started in the Clarion Ledger(Jackson's newspaper) asking if Liddell should retire.
He has the band sound real good but he's taken away a lot of what the FANS wanna see. Selfish.......JUST MY OPINION. Let me say that loud before I get jumped on. :swink:

so JSU played DoWhat Ya Wanna before SU?

No, that was our "crack" at them. Something that we would get booo'ed out of Baton Rogue for in this day and age.

We used to always play the Alcorn fight song during our halftime show against them.

I also liked that 1989 halftime battle between SU and JSU. It was JSU's homecoming.

I REALLY want to see the electric chair show. I was there that night but it was soooo long ago, I vaguely remember it. I think it was JSU Homecoming 1990.

Which one of those former twirlers is a drag queen that stand on the corners in Hattiesburg in a wedding dress in 90 degree weather....!!
