Why do you even align yourself with MD and AAMU. I mean at least Bama State has won some championships. Why even let yourself fall down like that. Come on bruh I know you went to Bama State, but that isn't even your home state. You have no allegiance to them. This will only cause your program sorrow and grief. I know you better than that MH. After all you are a fellow MJ fan like myself, so I know you are sensible enough to know that this new big 3 crap is a ploy just for MD and AAMU to align themselves with a winner. Alcorn wanted no part of it. So just let them go ahead and just be the Big 1 on their own. See if they cand stand on their own merit. ~snicker~

JR, do you understand the threads you read? We are not like the Mississippi schools and swamp schools. We don't hate on each other. The only time there is a disagreement in Bama is when we play each other. Other than that we all have family who either attended ASU or AAMU.

Looks like somebody needs a SWAC History lesson. The "hatred" the Boot schools have for each other is not like the hatred I believe you are speaking of. I would cheer for Grambling to whoop y'all in any damn thing, even UNO cards. But, when Blue/Gold and Black/Gold get together, even though it's perceived as "hate", it's actually the biggest HBCU family in the Nation today. Sure, I want to beat their asses continuously (and you know I enjoyed this weekend at Lee-Hines .... Grumbling), but I don't want nobody else to hurt them. That's our job!

That's what I get for trying to give Grumbling a damn compliment! Little boy, these sports do mean something. Ask your track and field teams or your baseball team whether they mean something. You are right though: I wanted the 2001 Football Championship, BUT I want the ones we have now too. That's the difference between us and the rest of you nuts. At Southern, we want ALL of championships and we will work towards that end.
If y'all are fine with being a power in one or two sports, go for it. But, I think that's pretty shoddy for being a SELF-PROCLAIMED ICON.
BTW, you don't know me. I am a avid supporter of Southern University sports period. I went to just as many basketball games as football. And, I would go to any sport to watch the Jags rip you Country Tiggers a new one.
Too bad you have to wait till August to gear up for another championship, but after last weekends results, I know why you're looking past baseball. See in Shreveport Boot brother.
