Singleton was more talented than Moore, but Moore works harder. We'll see what happens.Tobias Singleton anyone?
We had some that did. Corey Clark and Jamal Pittman were ok. It's been hit or miss for the most part, but those Big 10 (and Notre Dame) guys who transfer to JSU seem to be a waste of time.I don't really get excited when I hear about Mississippi SEC transfers lol we've had two that didn't pan out... tobias and evan ingram. They weren't better than what we had on campus. But kudos to the teams getting these fbs guys. Hope it works out.

I do see that Hopson is trying to flip a southern commit....a RB named Mims. His tape looks good. Can't wait to see what happens with that.

Naw. Eric Haw came into his own that 2nd year. He was a TD magnet inside the redzone. And that crazy big TE caught EVERYTHING thrown his way.We had some that did. Dude, get out your feelings like a girl. Wait, you ain't a girl, are you?Boy you can damn sure tell when a player turns down JSU. When Singleton came to JSU you would have thought he was Jerry Rice reincarnated let their fans tell it. And the other players that have transferred there from a FBS school. But the minute a player transfer down to somewhere other that JSU that player ain't hitting on nothing if you let the JSU fans tell it. SMDH!
Yes, but BBF was talking about State and Ole Miss, specifically.Daniel Brooks, Dominique Johnson were really good.
Eric Haw got in the way of Laverus Giles. Giles was the better RB. Marcel Frost was a headcase. He didn't bring much value to the team. And I remember him dropping quite a few passes. Honestly, we could have done without either two. If Haw had came back for his senior year, I think I'd be telling you a different story, though.Naw. Eric Haw came into his own that 2nd year. A lot of exaggeration and embelishment in that post, wasn't it? Sounds like a female, alright.Dude, get out your feelings like a girl. Wait, you ain't a girl, are you?

Really.......................Surely Alcorn can't win a 3rd Straight SWAC Championship. I guess Alcorn is not reloading, just recruiting.
The Truth is these kids are starting to realize that the ultimate goal is to make it to the NFL, not play for in a Meat Grinder for Free like Nick Saban at Alabama. Playing for Saban makes you tired thus when you get to the NFL, you're already somewhat mentally more tired than other college players. You see how AJ McCarron, Trent Richardson, amongst others are panning out don't you? Even GB's Coach said Eddie Lacy needs to lose weight. I theorize Eddie Lacy gained weight due in part to mental strain which is accelerated due to playing for Saban at Alabama.
In actuality, State Champions in Mississippi High School Football play more games in a season than Alcorn, JSU, or Valley. To win a State Championship in Mississippi High School Football, you have to play in 14-15 games right? Whereas in the SWAC, you play less games including the SCG and Celebration Bowl.
Less Strain on the Body in College = Being able to really showcase your talents for the NFL later.

It ain't happening. I don't remember the last time an Alcorn coached flipped an Southern recruit. Everytime Southern and Alcorn is going after an kid the kid majority of the time chooses Southern. The facilities is the difference.
