Mississippi Valley State - 13 at Arkansas-Pine Bluff - 3 (Valley really has improved. No more butterflies for the Delta Devils. Practiced long snaps all week long.)

Southern - 60 vs. Prairie View A&M - 0 @Shreveport (The Panthers are going to be strong when they get a couple of good recruiting season with 63 scholarships, but that hasn't happened yet.)


Grambling - 24 at Alcorn State - 20 (Eugene and company shake off defeat by 1-A doormat, but Alcorn is no I-AA doormat)

North Carolina - 17 A&T at Jackson State - 9 (J-State ain't a running team. Pass the damn ball. I hope I'm wrong. Go Tigers!!!)

Howard - 14 at Texas Southern - 21 (The battle of two inconsistent teams. TSU will show up for this game. )

Tennessee State - 7 at Alabama A&M - 21 (Pimp these OVC clowns. That's all I have to say.)

Alabama State - 12 vs. Bethune-Cookman - 32 @Mobile (The last game wasn't a fluke, but FAMU wasn't the 1-A transfer loaded team of previous years. I wouldn't read too much into that game. I hope I wrong on this one. Go Hornets!!!)
