"Ocean vs Jukebox"

They damn near killed that lil boy.... he sat in that bag through 3 damn songs (Bed, Duffle Bag Boy, and the Kayne song)....

that had to be the FUNNIEST skit gone wrong I have ever seen.... BUT on the other hand Texas So put on an EXCITING field show and Im loving the sound.

GREAT JOB TEXAS SO.... that "Beauty" by Dru Hill was a great opening fanfare..

also ... lmaooooooo@ the announcer saying "and you can put THIS on youtube also"
 
Both bands did a great job in the stands. I will agree that the acoustics in Reliant is horrible; howver, the band that is facing you delivers a good sound.

I like how Southern rearrange some old familiar songs and it sounds great.

TSU your sound is good as well, and it was evident on the field this week as well as last week in Gram.

The halftime show was just OK....I like the fact that the roof was open.

The reason that you have more than 150 is simply because you can and you choose to. It all depends on what kind of impression you want to make. By keeping the number down, you might want potential recruits to feel exclusive. By allowing the numbers to be larger, you might be suggesting that you want to give opportunities to more students. It all depends on what you want to say and hope that your audience interprets it the same way. Sure, there are other reasons, but this came to mind right away.

As for travel bands...it adds a level of complexity to everything. However, it is doable.

I agree to some degree...SU for many years has told other bands "yall can stack numbers on us and we ain't changing"...even now SU is not huge just a a lil padded...i was one who use to say they do the same thing over and over year end and year out, it works and their music selection works.....I'm a texas band fan first and im glad to see TxSU making strides to get better, but when all you here is blow the other bands head off....you get my point!!! SU is not teaching our high school bands how to blow loud and out of control...P.S. Poor duffle bag boy was he under the bed?
 
that lil boy looked like he was horrified when he got out that damm bag! yall gotta stop offereing yall kids to be put in bags for your favorite bands halftime shows! smmfh!:smh::smash:

Yes both bands did well. I sat by SU band and Lord they were bringing it. Shot out to the tuba that was blocking that dayum sun for me!
